This episode isn't that bad but unfortunately for me it was a bit disapointing. I can't help but feel it sort of jumped the gun that it could of been handled better, in a way it sort of suffered finals fatigue syndrome. What I mean by that is sometimes whenever a show has assended it's peak it then desends in quality. For one thing most of that conclusion was sort of a mess, I hated the fact that the senchi thoughout most of the episode just seem to be fighting what looks like the Moon Princesses henchman and not her, I felt that was kinda cheating, plus I'll admit the fights with them were a little long. Plus Sailor Moon doesn't really seem to do much except just walk from point A to B, just to destroy the earth. Queen Beryl doesn't really do anything which is also disapointing, it just seems like the whole thing wasn't much of a struggle. But I think the biggest thing this episode suffers from is incosistances, it's just riddled with them which will make you wonder in the end what just happened.

I felt that there should of been a conflict between Beryl and Sailor Moon then with the Senshi it would of made it so much better.

Still we see all of the character once again at their emotional best. From the Senchi who are doing everything they can not just to save the Earth but their friend as well but unfotunately despite their words and actions it's all fruitless. Then there is Queen Beryl who in this show what I loved is the fact that she a more tragic character then perpetrator, she of course see not point in going on without Endymion and of course stay to die, what's even more supprising is the fact that Jedite despite being released from the curse stays with her. Obviously he loves her, and of course out of whatever good/love was in her heart allows him to, even though he might not be Endymion, it's better than no one at all.

But the most tragic of course is Usagi/Sailor Moon it's just heartbreaking seeing the look on her face all the way though as well as the words that she says. As a saying goes every ship needs a harbor or it will sink, without Marmou she just had nothing to go back to there seemed to be no reason to live anymore. And of course out of the goodness of her heart as everything is destroyed things begin again, but of course the cost was her own life. And that is sort of the theme in this episode I guess begining again. Everything for Usagi has went to Hell and the only way to get back on good graces again was to of course start over which is always a common thing for most of us. And of course I was happy in the end that both Marmou and Usagi were back together again, and of course both were reunited with the Senchi and Shinnou (ok not quite for them but don't worry they come back for good in the Speical Act, those guys have more lives than a video game character, so don't fret). There probably was a better way to end it but this was alright for now.moreless
