It's still early, but "Blood Is the New Black" seemed to carry on with PLL's promise of giving us a darker “A” this season.

Not as strong an episode as the season premiere, but we still saw them go deeper into what is really going on, and obviously display that the girls are nowhere near safe. Aria's "I'm about to hang a sign, (bleep) can see," came out of left field, and that is one of my main complaints with this show still: the dialogue can be a bit unrealistic at times. Entertaining though, and much more layered than most of the programs that we get on this channel. Another good episode.moreless
