While it did not live up to my expectations of an action packed premiere from start to finish with shocking reveals and new twists, it still followed the show's perfect formula of sappy love stories mixed with a quite thrilling line of events moving at a fast pace resulting in a quite entertaining starter for the season.
The premier opens with police officer Garret persuading the girls to keep information of the tapes on the down low much to Jenna's satistaction. The girls are urged to see a therapist. They move back and forth between the decision of wether they should tell their therapist about "A." They decide not to when they realise "A" knows they are visiting her. Aria makes up with Ezra, and then finds out "A" has a key to his house. Spencer's relationship with her family hits rock bottom, but then improves a little when her sister tells her what she wants to name the baby. Caleb returns to try and make things right with Hannah who refuses and is also surprised to find out that Mona didn't deliver a message Caleb left for her causing her to confront Mona, finding out she's dating Noel Kahn in the process. The girls send Ian a message from Mellissa's phone to check if he is alive, which he is and that is confirmed by his answer to Spencer's question on his baby's name.
Not as exiting as I wanted it to be but a good start.
