Our girls are invited to Mona's camping birthday party except for Hannah, due to a message Mona recieved from "A." "A" has also informed the girls of a scavenger hunt to take place within the party. The girls all deal with their own personal problems in the process of preparing for the event. Hannah's financial issues. Aria's relationship with her mother. Spencer's relationship with her sister and the effect of Ian's return, and Emily coming clean about her life with her father. The party explodes into a series of nerve wracking events. Toby returns to tell Emily he was innocent. Emily and Spencer run off to find the "Wright Place." where a tree bears the words "Alison loves Ian," and Ezraa and Aria rekindle their passionate relationship much to Hanna's surprise. Toby gets arrested, and while all this was happening, Hannah spots "A" writing on Ezraa's car. She informs the girls just as her mother is seen going to extreme measures to fix her financial crisis. Then before the girls could unite to discuss what to do next, Hannah gets hit by a car and we are left with three screaming girls and, "She knew too much" - A.

WOW. Just WOW. This show continues to outdo itself. Brilliant mid season finale. The fact that they managed to cram so many characters into such a complex episode with so many things going on, is impressive. We have so much to look forward to. There's one big cliffhanger. Their decision to make it Hannah that gets hit by a car was a wise one since she is a fan favorite and people will want to know what happens next.

100% good quality episode. This show could become the show with the best first season.

Season 1, Episode 10. Mid-Season Finale!

Pretty Little Liar's first midseason finale was the best hour of television I've seen in a long, long time. Huge secrets were revealed and had a huge cliffhanger at the end of episode, making me glad I don't have to wait a long time for more new episodes since new episodes already started back up.

SPOILERS!!!

Hanna finds out about her mother's financial issues. Mona invites all of the girls to her birthday camping party. The girls all get a text from "A" saying she will be in the woods and they have to try and find her. Mona then gets a text from "A" saying Hanna got Liposuction, so she uninvites Hanna from her party. But that doesn't stop Hanna from sneaking up there because the girls plan on finding out what "A" is doing out there. The FBI question the girls after they find a video of Ali wearing "someone's" jacket at the "kissing" rock, supposedly Toby's jacket, so they put a search warrant out for Toby. Toby then returns to talk to Emily and tells her, her what happened that night and that he is innocent. Hanna's mother goes to deep measures to fix her financial issues. Emily comes out to her parents. Toby gets arrested by the police. Emily and Spencer go into the woods to find the "wright" place, there they find a tree trunk that says inside a heart, "ALISON + IAN". Aria meets Ezra in the woods in his car, where Hanna see them, and where she also shes someone, possibly "A" write "I SEE YOU" on the back of his car. Hanna then sends a text to the girls saying she knows who "A" is and that she is heading to the parking lot. Hanna then runs to the parking lot and gets hit by a car.....

..."She knew to much. -A"

Then another!! cliffhanger. There is a computer with the video of Ali at the kissing rock playing, but this time it goes longer and we see she is with...... Ian!!

AMAZING EPISODE! AMAZING MIDSEASON FINALE! DEFINITELY A 14/10!moreless

Okay so I was a bit skeptical about this show at first, but this show was on and I just decided to try it out for the fun of it, and I was delightfully surprised. We have a great ensemble, with absolutely fantastic plot twists. ABC Family promos are really misleading considering how cliche and incredibly annoying this show looked.

Judging by this episode, I can definitely see myself become a fan. Yes, it may be my new guilty pleasure. The mystery of who "A" is and the girl's secrets just makes up an enticing watch. Not to mention the cliffhanger was absolutely outstanding and memorable. Surprisingly you do have to pay attention to the details here with subtle foreshadowing this show seems to have.

Honestly, this episode made me want to tune in when this show returns and to be honest, I just might.moreless

The episode was a very good summer finale. There was so much action and emotion with all of the characters. I was surprised that Ms. Marin stole the money, but what was more surprising was that Toby was alive all this time and the police arrest him for the murder. Too bad the police only got 1/2 of that video with Alison. The ending scenes were very tense. I felt a hint of relief when Hanna saw Spencer, Aria, and Emily and headed toward them, but then the car came and...

I really think that the girls need to go to the police with all of their information, but there are secrets to keep.*shhh*moreless

Just when I decide Hanna is my favorite "Liar," A runs her over with a truck. While tragic, the cliffhanger was an excellent end to a fulfilling, suspenseful and dramatic episode.

It seems as if "A" decided not to terrorize just our four girls; she told Mona Hanna's secret weight-loss technique and sent Emily's mom pics of Em and Maya kissing. Hopefully these developments will be explored when Pretty Little Liars returns from a very, very long hiatus. While they weren't central to the plot I missed Lucas and Jenna, as it seemed many important characters except those two came together for this episode.

Things seem to be looking up for Aria and Ezra, and Spencer and Melissa started to bond. However I suspect these repairs won't stay for long; Hannah knows about Aria and Ezra and Spencer never told Melissa about Ian's odd fondness for younger girls, including Spencer. Speaking of Ian, I hope he won't turn out to be neither "A" nor Ali's killer, since it would be a bit obvious. A lot of questions were answered but the episode managed to spurn even more questions, yet the everlasting dilemma remains the same: Who is A?

All in all, this episode gave a cliffhanger intense enough to sustain my interest through the long, secret-less hiatus. Can't wait for the next episode! Even if it is five whole months.moreless
