I think this 1st episode is really fun. I mean we all know Ali is dead and that's the fun part where A is sending text messages from the underground!

I never really knew what the show was 'bout. Until, my friends everyday PLL gossip, I decided to try the book out first. I loved it am on my second!

Now I am trying to watch PLL on Netflix. This is a brilliant show. I am proud of the awesome director! I can't wait for season 4. I terribly want to know who A. Who else? Hop in with me, yo!-Amoreless

1.01 Surprising (Pilot)

I always thought this was just some kind of a "chick flick pink poor show", but now I get the popularity. I just gave it a shot and I am amazed at how entertaining it was. Like a teenage years of Wisteria Lane ladies. Very good. The casting is flawless, characters are pretty twisted. Laura Leighton and Holly Marie Combs are a huge plus, love them. And the girls who play Hannah and Emily are a real eye candy, so hot. I am looking forward to the next episode, terribly wanna know who the hell is texting them when Allison seems to be in that casket. Or is she? 9.0/10moreless

PLL Pilot

I had heard about the books and thought they sounded interesting, but as a fan of instant gratification, I decided to just check out the show. I loved this pilot! I knew instantly that I was hooked. And now, half-way through season three I am hooked more than ever! Love this show!!!

Plot : Four girls' lives are forever changed when their best friend, and leader of their group, goes missing. Things get alot more complicated when they start recieving threatening messages from what they presumed was her. Even after after the discovery of her body.

Interesting plot. Can't give all the credit to the writers, but mostly to the author, since the writers didn't change much. Likeable characters. The actors were well chosen. Good direction. It has a very campy, cosy, Desperate Housewives feel to it, which I love.

Deffinately mostly drawn to Hannah. She's very fabulous and creates a light in the uberly dramatic storyline which the other three don't seem to radiate as much.

It's sexy! There's chemistry with all the couples which is something you rarely find in shows anymore. Aria and her teacher have deffinately built up one hell of a bomb with their secret relationship.

One thing I didn't like was Maya. She just dosen't give off more of a "bad girl" vibe than "Free To Be" vibe one she does in the book. Other than that I enjoyed it and I can't wait for more.moreless

This episode is the series premier of Pretty Little Liars. It was pretty good, it was a little slow, but that's what you have to expect from a pilot. Not only does it introduce all of the characters, but it also introduces the infamous "A", who will stalk the girls all throughout the series. At the end, it also has the somewhat spooky ending, where it shows Ali's portrait, the only thing I don't get is, was "A" looking at it, or was the camera just looking at it? a pretty good episode, and the start of the series, and the mystery.moreless
