  • Maya meets the parents.

At a 'welcome home from hospital' party for Hanna, her moms stolen money is re-stolen by A, elsewhere, Maya meets the parents.
  • Starting to bore...

Mona, Sean, Noel and the rest of the posse in "Hannah's world" threw her a surprise party which resulted in the theft of Hanna's moms' stolen money. Ironic much? Spencer and her boyfriend get into a disagreement over an internship Spencer really wants for him. Maya goes to dinner at Emily's house. Noel tries to blackmail Ezra. Toby says no to Jenna. We find out Lucas destroyed Alison's memorial and A has Hanna's money.

The episode follows the same formula the show has cooked up in every single episode since it started. Mini devolepments to the main plot overshadowed by major development in the "teen life" subplots which are starting to drag.

First episode to get below a 7 from me on PLL. I'm hoping the second half of the season re-creates the glory of the first.moreless

A lackluster Pretty Little Liars tonight, we got some minor development, there really isn't a Pretty Little Liars episode that doesn't bring you some development, but things were too slow moving, and it just hasn't been as explosive as things were in the beginning of the season.

I am wondering how they will incorporate the piggy bank in future episodes, maybe it will hint who "A" is, Noel is becoming more & more suspicious. We didn't get a lot of Aria/Ezra story lines which in some ways was a good thing. Emily's dinner was entertaining, but was somewhat unimportant compared to the other things that were going on. I liked her interactions with Toby, and it's just great to have him back on screen.

A is getting quite soft, terrorizing the girls this week was a little held back. Making Spencer's boyfriend go to a tennis camp? We all know A can do better than that. I enjoyed the flashback, even though I was having trouble relating it to present time, it was still good to see. Overall, not the best Pretty Little Liars episode, but it was still entertaining nonetheless.moreless

Noel starts to use the info he knows about Mr. Fitz as blackmail. Toby is released on bail, and Emily tells him, she didn't turn him in. Hanna finds out that it was Lucas who destroyed Ali's memorial. Hanna discovers that someone at the party found Hanna's mother's stash of cash and stole it. Spencer sees Ian's luggage which has a tag from HIlton Head, a place that Hanna came back from, but said she was with her grandma, the day she was killed. Hanna gets a message from "A" saying she will get her money back if she does exactly what she says. Good Episode. 7.8/10moreless
