  • Lull in the storyline

Feeling like there's a bit of a lull, not as interesting as it was.
  • Less exiting than the previous one...

    but good nonetheless..

The girls are dealing with the events of the homecoming party. Toby is missing. Spencer is trying to make it up to her guy, and Hannah has sparks flying with a new guy. Atleast, I see the sparks. Something about her and Lucas. Opposites attract, and those two have chemistry. Aria and Ezraa don't get much attention in this episode.

    Liked it. Not loved it.

So I'm new to this show but from the looks of it, this episode was pretty good. Too focused on relationships for my liking but I love the gritty feeling I get from the show especially the scene in which the girls were fighting over Toby's file. I hadn't watched the previous episode but Toby's absence really was something big for the show. I also liked Jenna and her mysterious backstory and her relationship with Toby.

Nothing seems too taboo or forbidden for this show, it seemed to really go places that a show on ABC Family really has not gone before. The only relationship I was really interested in was Hannah and the yearbook editor. They seemed like a good pairing, and this is the episode that got me in to the show.

Homecoming really must have been big considering the effects on Emily and how the whole episode just really felt like the aftermath which wasn't necassarily a bad thing. Good episode, intriguing ending.moreless
  • Season 1, Episode 7

"The Homecoming Hangover" was the aftermath episode of the disastrous, intense, and life changing events of the homecoming dance. This episode really focused on how homecoming affected everyone and how Toby's disappearance is affecting every single girl. and Toby's disappearance is really big on the plot right now. Where is he? What is he doing? Does he have a plan? Is he "A"? Does Jenna know what Toby is up to? Another huge mystery is who changed the population or Rosewood sign down one, meaning someone was killed?, Who was killed?

Very effective episode that showed us the aftermath of Homecoming. 8/10moreless
  • An effective follow-up to last week's shocking events.

    7.5
This week's "Homecoming Hangover" felt like just that--a hangover. It followed the effects and consequences of the previous night. Unfortunately, this episode felt a little less exciting because it was only showing what happened after Homecoming's exhilarating events. Nevertheless, the episode was still solid and captivating.

The relationship between Lucas and Hannah is growing on me, reminding me of The O.C.'s Seth and Summer. I also liked the continuation of the problems between Aria's parents, as well as Jenna's visit with Emily. I didn't mind the short pause in the storyline with Aria and Ezra, it needed a break. I especially liked the scene in the forest when the girls were fighting over what to do with Toby's file; I was wondering when they would get into a serious argument. And of course I hope Toby isn't dead, because I feel like they could continue his story a little longer.

Overall, "The Homecoming Hangover" predictably yet productively followed up on last week's episode. Can't wait to see the next!moreless
