    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

    • QUOTES (0)

    • NOTES (4)

      • Opening Song: "Dream Away (Chanto Yume no Mimashio" sung by Chisa Yokoyama (Japanese), Sharyn Scott (English)
Ending Song: "Your Hiroshi / Ai No Makeikuna" sung by Rica Matsumoto (Japanese), Diane Michelle (English)

      • This episode runs 45 minutes. At the end of the credits, there is bonus audio dialogue.

      • Nudity? The Mihoshi Special and OAV's show Sasami nude in a PG way in her transformations, but for OAV2 (Electro Brain), she transforms from her street clothes straight to her costume. In the TV series, her body in the transformation is just covered with sparkles.

      • In the introduction for the Japanese dub, Sasami remarks that Pixy Misa speaks "Weird English". Pixy Misa uses cutely accented English (Engrish) phrases like "wh-y?" and "ni-ice to meet you!"

For the Pioneer dub, Pixy Misa uses some French phrases. They are spoken like an American would say it. The rest of her speech is in American English.

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • Product Replacement
Right before the arcade crane picks up the Ryoko and Ayeka dolls, the outside building reads Zega which is based on Sega, and one of the dolls in the booth resembles Sonic the Hedgehog.

Tenchi buys a competitor software called the Mach 8.At the time the Mac operating system was still using System 7, and the Mac OS 8 operating system was released later in July 28, 1997.

      • Biff Standard, the American CEO of StandardSoft, and "one of the richest men in the world" wants to have the world use his operating system SynchoniCity.

They forget to mention he lives near Seattle, Washington, but he's a dead-on parody of Bill Gates, the former CEO of Microsoft, and still one of the richest men in the world.

      • Akihabara is referenced in this episode as the electronics capital of Japan. This is a true reference, as Akihabara is indeed a big electronics city in Japan. Can also be spelled Akiahabara.
