Why is it that I feel sad whenever certain fictional charcters die, I'll never know. May'be it's because of the humanity of them that makes us truely connect but most of all make them feel like real human beings. There have be very rare times when I have actually cried in a movie, this is one of those times. I heard that after this episode litteraly every Anime and Sailor Moon fan male and female alike was heartbroken over it, I'm both these things so you get how I felt. Even writing about this right now and thinking about it depresses me, and if I feel this way right now then you'd understand how powerful this episode truely is but also it's my favorate episode/arc in not just Sailor Moon but in all television in general, there has never been any finer or powerful moment than this one.

This season I'll admit was the darkest one ever, probably the darkest chapter from the disentergrating relationship between Marmou and Usagi (of course that Marmou turned out to be an imposter, many of use probably guessed that), the new guy coming into Usagi's life Seiya who have one of those not in the cards relationships (I'm actually glad he didn't get Usagi I didn't think they were right for one another), certain things in the chaarcters lives happening, but most of all the enigma of the direction this season was going which makes it all the more powerful because like in any superhero story we would be steps ahead of the heroes which was always the usual suspense, but in this season were steps behind because there are just so much hidden from us, and that's a good thing because it really put us in the good guys perspective

makeing us feel a little more of the same things they feel and once we figure it out it's already too late. What's interesting about this episode is it really catches you off guard, at first it almost feels like another final conflict and were thinking that the Starlights and the Sailors will be able to win, but when we see the Starlights getting their butts kicked were starting to get a really bad feeling and were not sure of anything anymore. There were no gurentees we didn't know if there was going to be if there was going to be a happy ending or not.

This wasn't just like watching another TV episode it was an experence, one that you will never forget. I'll never forget the feelings I felt during those final moments. Just when things were looking really bad for the Starlight, the scouts did what they would usual do, protect innocent people. This act of course becomes costly, once Galaxia fires those energy blasts, were thinking are they going toward Sailor Moon or the Starlights. But then we see the trajectory of their destination, when I saw each scout get hit I couldn't help but flinch. The whole thing just happened in a flash, and when it fades to black we wonder what just happened. Suddenly when those star seeds appear right then and there I already know and my heart just sinks.

I then all four of them on the ground, their then now looking at the starlights with slightly sad and happy looks on their faces it reflect the final words that they give to them as to why they did it. I'll never forget those words because they show what true heroism, love, and friendship is really about, that was why they were truely powerful. Once Ami, Minako, and Makoto faded away I was going to tears, however the one thing that truely made my heart bleed deeply was the fact that my favorate character Rei right now in Usagi's arms was dying. I found myself wanting to keep looking at Rei's face and listen to ever word she had to say because I knew she didn't have much time. I'll never forget that look on her face looking a little sad from some of the tears on her face and a little happy with a slight smile yet was talking to Usagi with a somber tone. And then suddenly she fades away. By the time Usagi broke down and cried was the same time I broke, I just couldn't stop crying. It just really got to me, but the worst feeling I had was a sense of powerlessness, that's what hurt me the most.

This episode shows the inner senchi Sailor Scouts at their soulful best, and prove why I loved them because they are not just true heroes, no it goes beyond that but wonderful human beings.moreless

this episode is really sad i couldn't stop crying when they died but it's sweet how the sailor scouts sacrficed their lives for usagi and the starlights. in the end you see that it really really sad since when you see the star seed if you know what usagi is saying about how it mamoru's star seed i cried more. again i cried for mostly the whole episode. you can't watch the episode without crying. i remember reading the manga and all the sailor scouts died in it and how the inners and outers and tuxedo mask turned evil. sadmoreless
  • The Inner Senshi die, and their Star Seeds are taken.

    10
All good things must come to an end. That's what happens to the Inner Senshi when they transform and head for Galaxy TV to save the Starlights from being killed by Galaxia. Of course, there's a force field surrounding the building, and if they touch it, they'll die. Sailormoon doesn't want to just sit and watch the Starlights battle, but the others don't want her to get killed. Fortunately, ChibiChibi appears and teleports them to Galaxia. Sailormoon tells her that it's wrong for her to do whatever she wants. Galaxia claims to be the ruler of the galaxy, and just as her attack's about to hit the Starlights, the Inners get in the way and they blasted back. Galaxia says that they'll regret how they talked to her, and she sends energy out from her bracelets, and to make things worse, they hit the Inners one by one, and their Star Seeds get taken. Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter explain why they're so protective of Sailormoon and the Starlights, and then they fade away. Sailormoon cries out, and Mars still says that Sailormoon has Mamoru, and sadly, she fades away as well. Sailormoon cries out in anger, and she wants them back. Galaxia then shows her all the Star Seeds she had collected. Sailormoon suddenly notices the Golden Star Seed of the Earth. She then realizes that it's the Star Seed of Mamoru, so he was also killed by Galaxia.moreless
  • The end for the Inner Senshi.

This episode is so heartwrenching that it hurts to watch. But you just have to because its just so good. When the inner senshi are telling the starlights to protect sailor moon, thats when you can expect to start crying. But when Sailor Moon screams "No!" after Sailor Mars dies... that just kills. Thats why I have to say that the japanese voice actors outdid themselves on this one. It was great.moreless
