This episode does two things for one thing it reveals a lot about Galaxia's identity who she really is, that she was a Sailor Senchi who unfortunately became possesed by evil because she made one common mistake all heroes tend to make, not asking for help when needed, which of course cost her her soul. At that point I couldn't help but question if not completely share Sailor Moon's optimism whether Galaxia is an innocent life that can really be saved or not. One part of me wanted to agree with Sailor Moon but another wanted to disagree because not just was I unsure it was possible but I just couldn't forgive her for killing Rei and the others, I hated Galaxia so much I wanted her to die; and I think that was part of the point in this confict after everything that has happened it could go either way, which is one of the things that make this episode a little nerve racking.

But another reason why I find this episode nerve racking is because there are two modes of suppense, the first one is pulling the rug from under us there is this build up in everything is starting to look really bad and the the Starlights are litterally using everything in the book against Galaxia but just when you think they are getting close to defeating her, it always turns around on us. It's the same when Sailor Moon utilize two of her best powers which fail against her. It almost seems unfair like you want to tell her that were the good guys.

But the second mode of suspense is in who we really want to defeat Galaxia. We know Sailor Moon is the one to defeat her, but it's the Starlights that are doing most of the work. I like thinking cmon we don't want them to defeat Galaxia we want Salior Moon to, and were just waiting for that moment when Salior Moon will make her stand and deliver that blow. And once the Starlights get their butts kicked for the last time we see Sailor Moon power up into her original identity. At that point I actually cheared a little because I knew the puck was finally in Usagi's court, and that she was going to deliver the sweet justice Galaxia deserves.moreless
