Prickly Heat

Show Summary

Prickly Heat was a Sky1 tv series that aired from 1998-2001. This show hailed from the mind of director Jonathan Bullen, and is a fast-paced game show. The game show brought teams of four boys and four girls from the countries of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and dropped them on Majorca for two weeks of games and play. Each team had to work together in order to compete in a beach Olympics and win the final prize. The events in the beach Olympics ranged from sports to very risky and dangerous games. Each team fought hard to be the final team standing and to take home the title of the winners. Julian Clary and Davina McCall were the hosts of this show, and worked hard to keep the energy high and the teams fighting. They both hosted the show during its first season, then gave the job to Denise Van Outen during the second season.
