In my humble opinion, Colin Firth is the best Mr Darcy ever!

He was absolutely stunning, adorable...ultimate Mr Darcy!

You could see on his face the struggle of emotions...
when he saw Lizzy after she found out that Lydia escaped with Mr Wickham. He wanted to hug her and say that everything will be all right...
when he saw Lizzy at Pemberly....when she "saved" Georgiana from Bingley's sister remark on Mr Wickham... the list is endless...

I agree. The entire cast, sets locations, costumes, and everything else was absolutely perfect.

Oh God, Colin is definitely the one and only Darcy. I couldn't imagine him in other way.

colin was def the best mr. darcy. that matthew macfadyen guy who played him in 2005 was really wooden. i didnt like him as mr.darcy.

I agree completely. He even played Darcy in Bridget Jones's Diary which was based on Pride and Prejudice. Oh the irony.

yes, i agree with everyone her, the bbc version had everything perfect, including the perfect Mr.Darcy. i also loved the outfits, and the dancing was great too.

Colin Firth is the best Darcy and I think the film can't hold a torch to the BBC version

You know the part in the mini series when Lizzie is looking out over Darbyshire and says, "Beautiful!" The same can be said for Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy - beautiful! This is especially true when Lizzie comes to Georgiana's rescue at the piano, and there is Darcy's look. Beautiful! Colin Firth is absolutely wonderful.
