You hear the Wilhelm Scream from the kid in the cell after the anomaly opens just before the opening credits.
Goof: As we see the old factory for the first time, as the camera pans to the right, we see a figure in front of a car in the distance and two personnel walking away from the camera with hard-hats and safety vests on. The next time we see the building, the same exact stock footage is used.
In the first scene of this episode in which we see the primeval group it is shown upon leaving the car that Captain Becker walks past the car, but upon Captain Becker talking about how he hates sitting in the back he is seen standing behind the car and then begins walking away.
It is revealed in the episode that Danny can speak and understand Latin.
The song heard at the end of the episode is "Better Man" by Bill Baylis.
The ostrich-like birds are called terror birds and they lived during the last ice age in South America. They stood three meters (ten foot) tall. They had to be pretty fierce as they had some nasty predators, like smilodon (sabre toothed cats).
During the episode, Helen says that the clones have limited intelligence; enough to follow basic instructions. So how is it possible for one of the clones to identify and tell her that infiltration into the Arc is impossible without security clearance and retina scans?
ID goof: when Connor is identifying pristichampsus, the picture that comes up on his computer is that of a bernissartia, a very different extinct crocodilian, as pictured in Simon & Schuster Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs & Prehistoric Creatures, 1999.
Helen places a fossilized ammonite on Stephen's grave in an echo of the living one she left on Nick's desk at the end of episode one.
15 clones of the character known as "The Cleaner" can be seen surrounding Helen at the end of the episode. How many more clones there are is yet to be revealed.

At the end of both series, an important character dies. Captain Ryan in the first, and Stephen in the second.
When Cutter saw at first the timer of the bomb, it showed 02.00 minutes until detonation and the countdown started. After that, Cutter screamed for everyone to get out and for Connor to stay. It took a few seconds and we saw the timer for the second time and the clock still showed 02.00.
Near the end of the episode, when Cutter is held at gunpoint by the mercenary, he tosses the portable anomaly detector. As he tosses it, you can see the antenna is fully extended, yet when it lands, it's fully retracted.
Goof - when Connor is trying to rescue Abby we can see that her hand position on the rock changes as the camera angles switch. The most noticeable of this is when she is hanging by one hand, then we see from Connor's angle that she has both hands on the rock.
Connor names his system as Anomaly Detection Device or in short ADD. ADD is commonly known as Attention Deficit Disorder.
The song that plays during an overview of the theme park is Pink "Get The Party Started".
This is the first (and so far only) episode in which the anomaly itself is never seen.
The song playing when Connor is watching over the park is "I Said Never Again" by Rachel Stevens, and when Peter Campbell is being chased is "Get It On (Bang A Gong)" by T.Rex.
When Leek gives Caroline the payment in the car, visible blank pieces of paper can be seen in the bundles of £20 notes.
