Details/Progress (To point A to B) -» (9/10). Ok, the objective of this episode is to make Mahone caught Lincoln and Make an Michael Vs T-bag, as you can expect, the scenes were delayed until near the end of this episode. But at least, things get more complicated and for some characters, their plot ended.

Plot Details/Holes- » (7/10). The Mexican cops are very strange, they don´t interrogate you, they simple put you in jail. Sucre gets a car that had a nice tool waiting for T-bag, this was very poorly written.

Drama - » (8/10). Kellerman and Michael feel guilt, so this episode focus on their guilt and how their plan to put this guilt away. Sucre needs to find Maricruz.

Suspense/Tension - » (8/10). Pursuing T-bag didn´t create that a great tension, but at least two scenes did that.

Surprises/Shocks - » (8/10). Nice and simple twist in the end. Kellerman little surprise too.

Time and Scene Management - » (9/10). It’s hard to notice any filler in this episode, since the previous episode already did that. But as you can expect, T-bag getting caught and escaping was necessary to fill the rest of this episode, so he is caught two times, this only serves to put Bellick and Sucre in their position for season 3, T-bag position is already in place too, only Lincoln and Mohone fate are uncertain yet.

Beginning - » (9/10). Good beginning, all the 3 villains in place.

Complication Phase - » (7/10). Catch T-bag and stop the two guys protecting Mahone. Also, Sara´s judgment is in place too.

    Climax - » (8/10). Michael Vs T-bag was funny.

Ending - » (9/10). A simple details that changes Michael situation, it´s funny because Michael has to save is brother again.

What I liked -» Mahone and Lincoln scenes. T-bag vs Michael, Bellick fate. Kellerman attitude

    What I Didn´t Liked -» Sucre injury.

After the previous episode done all the necessary setups, accompanied with fillers, this episodes quality is much better, putting two villains to rest and leaving two fates to be decided in the season finale.moreless
  • T-Bag is running rampant in Panama, Mahone gets the big fish

It doesn't make a difference if you're guilty or innocent; it's who survives." Outside the Fin Del Camino Hotel, Michael hooks up with Sucre and Bellick in a bid to go after T-Bag. Having flushed him out of the hotel, they follow him to a downtown address, where Bellick – whom T-Bag shoots in the leg – fails to join the other two in escaping a set-up arranged by "The Company". Michael and Sucre manage to bundle T-Bag into a car, planning to take him to the Embassy, only to have him flee following a violent attack on Sucre en route. As a passer-by tends to Sucre, Michael follows T-Bag into the forest and tracks him down to a deserted shack. A grapple ensues, but Michael's quick to get the upper hand, leaving T-Bag floored, stripped of his millions and ready to be taken in by the police. In Chicago, Sara is standing trial for her part in the fugitives' escape, and the prosecution is well on its way to getting a conviction on all counts. But just as she prepares to accept a plea bargain of twelve years' imprisonment, a redemption-seeking Kellerman steps forward to corroborate her account of the conspiracy. Back at the boat, and looking forward to a wealthier future, Michael gets a call from Lincoln, whose attempts to keep Mahone at bay have proved disastrous. Having let go of the chance to get rid of the dirty agent for good, Lincoln's now being held hostage by him. But Mahone insists there's a way out. He takes over the call to reveal that he's in the market for a boat – and what remains of the $5 million. In return, Lincoln will walk free. "It all comes down to this, Michael: your brother for your plan."moreless
  • T-bag is in custody.

    9.4
How long I have been waiting for T-bag to get arrested and in this episode he does in Panama. This was a good episode and it looks like Sara is going to prison until Kellerman shows up to testify for her. Mahone sets up Michael and Linclon. Michael has a feeling something is not right and they manage to escape the plan and get the 5 mil. Only problem is T-bag stabs Sucre, Bellick gets arrested and Mahone ends up capturing Lincoln. I think the writers do a good job in this show of spinning storylines. I don't know how long they can keep it up but so far so good. I could pick up apart a lot of the plots and things that happened in this episode and the show but I won't as it is just to good.moreless
  • Linc goes to look for Mike but Mahone catches him instead. Mike goes to look for T-Bag but runs into Sucre and Bellick. Sara faces trial for her part in the escape. T- Bag shoots Bellick and stabs Sucre. Mike stabs T-Bag in the arm and takes the money!!!!moreless

Okay. I REALLY LOVE this show, but I must admit, it wasn't my favorite episode. One of the things I didn't like was how everyone was bossing Sucre around, then T-Bag stabs him. I was excited when I thought Kellerman was going to kill himself, but when it didn't happen, I was mad. A surprising turn in the episode was when the surprise witness to testify on Sara's behalf was Kellerman(I see now that's why he's still around). However, I'm not going to expect him to be too helpful to her cause. I can't believe she's facing 12 years and will be eligible to get out in 9 years. That doesn't seem right to me. 5 or 6 years sounds more reasonable. Anyway, neither Linc nor Mike took prime opportunities to get rid of the guys they were after. Mahone has Linc hancuffed and trapped, and while Michael at least stabbed T-Bag, he is still alive, and now Mike has to try to find Linc and help him---again. Again I would like to say I am a HUGE fan of this show, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with every episode. I just REALLY hope the season ends with an exciting BANG!!!!!moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (9)

    • The license plate of the car that runs over T-Bag is 591184.

    • The license plate of the car that Michael and Sucre steal is 406593.

    • The patrol car from which the cops come to arrest Bellick, reads 08006 on the sides.

    • Lincoln punches Mahone several times in the face but Mahone does not even have a scratch or mark from it.

    • Kellerman's letter was addressed to Kristine Kellerman. However, she's credited as Kristine Pace.

    • Goof: When Michael arrives at Fin Del Camino, he has several flashbacks of T-Bag. One of these, from episode, "Odd Man Out", is of him slashing Abruzzi's throat. But not only was Michael not present for this, Abruzzi never told him that T-Bag was responsible for it.

    • When Lincoln points the gun at Mahone after they fight, he says "Toss me the handcuffs..". Afterwards, we see a flashback to that scene. In the flashback, Lincoln now says "Give me the handcuffs...".

    • There are some mistakes in the English to Spanish translations on this episode: After the latin boy explodes the firecrackers, he asks Michael "Es bueno?", which actually means "Is it good?" in Spanish, but always related to tastes or characters (p.e: He's a good person). The boy should have said "Estuvo bien?" Scofield, by the way, answers the boy with the same mistaken expression. Later, at the hotel, when the fire alarm is activated, we can hear a voice on the speakers that warns customers of leaving the hotel because of the fire. The woman says "Este edificio est en fuego", a direct translation of the English expression "This building is in fire". In Spanish a building is never "in fire" ("en fuego") but "in flames" ("en llamas"). The correct sentence should have been "Este edificio est en llamas". There can be some differences between traditional Spanish and the Spanish spoken in Latinamerican countries, but these two examples are huge mistakes.

    • In the scene where Bellick is shot by T-Bag in the leg, his scream of pain does not sound like Bellick at all, but Michael (recalling from the episode, By the Skin and the Teeth. When Sucre removed the guard uniform off of Michael's burned back, Michael screamed in the exact same way.

  • QUOTES (24)

    • Kellerman: My entire adult life I've followed orders and, um, I did terrible things, because I thought they were right, and it turns out I did those things in the service of nothing. So that's what I'm left with, nothing.

    • Michael: (to Sucre) The only reason I'm not five miles away from here right now is because I want to help you find Maricruz, not kill Bellick. If that's your game, I'm gone.

    • Sara: The jury heard Michael's tape.
Lawyer: They heard a convicted felon lie for a woman he clearly cares for. He's got no credibility. Sara, we need to take a hard look at what they're offering.
Sara: "We" aren't going to prison, I am.

    • Bellick: I'm a big jerk, Scofield. Shame on me.

    • Mahone: Remember how I always said the day would come and I'd be done? Leave the Bureau and never look back?
      Pam: Yes.
      Mahone: Today's that day.

    • Michael: You are out of your mind.
      Mahone: Not really.

    • Michael: (to Sucre) If you find Maricruz, you're going to marry Maricruz, and then you're going to live happily ever after.

    • Michael: (to Mahone) If you touch my brother, you're a dead man.

    • (Lincoln and Mahone are fighting, Lincoln applies pressure to Mahone's wound, causing him to scream in pain) Lincoln: Those bullet wounds don't heal too good, do they, Mahone?

    • Mahone: I never stopped loving you, Pam. Never.

    • T-Bag: What, exactly, is it that you want, Pretty?
      Michael: I'm turning you in.

    • Mahone (to Michael): When it comes right down to it, Lincoln is just like you. He has a heart that won't kill a man.

    • Michael: Get the gun off me.
Bellick: I asked you a question.
Michael: I said, get the gun off me or I walk. (Bellick lowers the gun) All right. I'll get your five million. (to Sucre) You get Maricruz and I get T-Bag.
      Bellick: Win, win, win.
Michael: You gotta do exactly as I say.
      Sucre: Thank you. bro.
Bellick: All right Einstein, what're you thinking?

    • Lincoln: (to Mahone) It's going to end bad for you, man. Couple of things in this world I'm good at. One of them's looking into a man's eye and knowing when he's beat.

    • Mahone: It all comes down to this, Michael. Your brother for your plan. Five minutes, that's what you have.

    • Michael: Looks like you've made some friends lately.
      T-Bag: I don't follow.
Michael: That set-up back there is a little out of your league, looked almost professional.
T-Bag: Let's say that's the case. What's it worth to you to find out? Because I am in possession of some information that you might need, pretty.
Michael: Okay. Tell me what you know. Maybe I'll let you walk, without the money.

    • Mahone: You're not going to like how this ends, Lincoln. I'm giving you a chance, right now. Just back away, all right? Just back away.
Lincoln: You son of a bitch, you killed my dad. You're done!

    • Michael: Bellick and T-Bag will get theirs, trust me.

    • Kellerman: As soon as it happened, the commanding officer, he got in my face and he said, "son, a weapon jam on the battlefield, you might as well call that suicide."

    • Michael (to Bellick): Now you start acting like a cowboy, this whole thing's going south, real fast. Remember that.

    • T-Bag: You're being penny wise and pound foolish.

    • Michael: You're not that guy.
Sucre: That son of a bitch took my girl and locked her up somewhere. I am that guy now Michael. Look at me.

    • Sucre: Didn't Fox River teach you anything man, because the same rules apply out here. It doesn't make a difference if you are guilty or innocent, it's who survives.

    • Michael (to Sucre, who wants to kill Bellick): Believe me, I understand the impulse to pull the trigger, but if we lose ourselves, we lose everything.
