I've seen this debate in 2 previous threads, so let's try to figure it out: Is Mahone joining the company to take it down with Michael or just because it was the most convenient choice?

A few facts:

Mahone knew Whistler before Sona (probably, because of the company).

Mahone helped Whistler escape from Lincoln&Michael.

Mahone hates the company (non-fact, just opinion).

I think it would be a major turnoff to have Mahone working for the company again (season 2 is back?) and that it would be waaaaaaay better to have him working with Scofield from the inside (besides, that could lead to some kind of ending for the show), specially now that it seems Lincoln is not going to help Michael.

He getting money doesn't proove anything. I'm not lacking of imagination nor being lazy, the show is famous for the twist in the plot and characters motivations, so we can have reasonable doubts about what's really going on. Don't be that obtuse.

Ps: I created the thread because, even though it has been mentioned previously on other post, it hasn't been, acording to me, properly discused. You can disagree, but there's no need to be arrogant.
