This episode was absolutely garbage continuity wise. Suddenly day turned into night at the Steadman residance. Or did Veronica actually stand there looking at Terrance for 8 hours?

Last episode closes with the escapees running into the forrest in pitch dark. Helicopters, dogs, cops, snipers are all after them. But this episode opens with them running in the forrest 8 hours later only to find most of the dogs are gone, helicopters gone, and there are about 5 people chasing at best.

I find it REALLY hard to believe that Michael and co has been running for 8 hours constantly without being caught. Each one of them got away. Fantastic.... Plot wise, it had to happen. But the execution? Beyond horrible. Then there's T-Bag, with his arm missing. He's still all well. In fact he's still got the ability to force people into corners with his knife. What I'm trying to say is that it's laughable he's in such physical condition. I agree that suspending your disbelief is a must. BUT this is WAY too much. The writers asked for too much in this episode.

The big twist of the episode is that Veronica dies. That was done well, and I've to give it to the writers: I didn't see that one coming. One of the coldest murders in the history of the show. Sad, too.

And another thing I liked: Alexander Mahone! Portrayed by the awesome William Fichtner. He really makes the already good character shine. But apart from these 2 factors, this was my least favourite episode of PB. A huge mess.moreless

Eight hours after the escape, Michael, Lincoln, Sucre, C-Note and Abruzzi head for Oswego as FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone is assigned to lead the pursuit of the escapees. T-Bag finds help for his cut-off hand. Veronica becomes unsuccessful while trying to bring out the evidence that Terrence Steadman is still alive. What can I say about this episode? All the wait and season two is here. This season premiere was awesome. I loved every scond of it. I love the new character, Alexander Mohone. He is awesome and I can't wait to see more of him and I can't wait to watch more of the show.moreless

  • Good Material, But Not Enough to Be GReat!!!

    "Good"
This episodes close the introdution Phase that began in the season finale.

T-Bag scenes was unreal, since he has to live, the writers wrote some fantasy stuff and maybe he will have is hand back.

The good news is about sara, she is alive, but in trouble, and how she will fit in this season remain a secret.

The Shocking part of this episode is Veronica, since nobody expected that this would happen to a regular character. Her Scenes made no sense, since night turn into day, Steadman has a gun for nothing etc.

Michael Scenes wasnt good this time. How they escape from dogs, helicopteres, guards, cars etc, remain in the fantasy land. Since this is the seaosn premiere, they are running, with a few cops behind them, how they managed to run so many hours (more than 8 hours) is a mystery that never will be solved.

AS expected, Michael planned the all escape. Now is every man for himself. Speaking of this, we have a new character.

AGent Mahone is a great character and so clever as Michael, and you can sense this from the beginning of his speech to the TV. The actor is simply great, so this character will provide good Scenes, since the writers provide good material for him.

Overall, this episode is about details, information on character status (veronica, michael and Cia, t-bag, sara), and since the writers expected that the season began well, they put a shocking scene, to make you feel that you had a strong season premiere.

This is the type of episode that can receive a 9 or 7, depends on your fanatism and analysis of logical details. I gave a 7,5, all the scenes together wasnt enough to compare this episode with some of the great episodes of the past season.moreless
