  • Awesome.

Agent Mahone tries to lure the escapees by targeting an imprisoned L.J. as Michael and Lincoln plan another breakout. Abruzzi, C-Note, and Sucre flee on their own, while Tweener finds a ride. Bellick and Pope face tribunal for their roles in the breakout. Another awesome episode, Prison Break is getting better and better. I'm really starting to like, Mahone eventhough I don't want any of them to get killed and stuff. I liked seeing LJ again after his long absence from the show. This season is really fast and I love it like this. Can't wait to watch more of this season.moreless

  • One interesting plot and Setups!!!!

    First, from the writers perspective:

They needed to build some plot, like for example how almost all the convicts will be in Utah. So make sense beginning with David and T-bag, give time for sucre and C-note Storylines, maybe in the next episodes.

As expected, thw writers wrote some miracle and now t-bag have is hand back, not entirely functional, of course. If this was a movie, only one scene was necessary to explain all.

Pope and Bellick lost their jobs, that is satisfying, mainly because of Bellick, he deserved. Now he can be a rogue agent and hunt Michael.

Another Objective was Michael and Mahone confrontation, which was easy to do, since LJ Storyline could be easily tied to them, for that to happen.

    My point of View:

All Bellick scenes was satisfatory, mainly the last scene, that was excellent. T-Bag scene seems to be a filler only. DAvid Scenes too, since he could appear in Utah, without any scenes explaining how he arrived there.

Michael and Lincoln tentative was interesting, only near the end and the cliffhager was fine too.

Other than that, I think we don´t have a great episode, but a good one.moreless
  • Review

Another action filled episode with the prisoners not in the Prison that I found to be very well done. Micheal and Lincoln getting seen and then running away might get a little old if it happens every episode, but I did enjoy that at least there attempt of getting LJ out of custody failed.

Mahone is devoloping as a fantastic character. I could see him becoming one of the biggest (likely the biggest) pain in the side of Micheal and Lincoln this season. Figuring out the "Otis" riddle at the last second was really well done. I love that kind of writing and seeing it all come together on the screen.

Billick and the Pope has big devolopments in this episode as well. The power structure that we know from last season has crashed and burned in the beginning of season 2 and with Malone acting the way he is acting I dont mind the shake-up at all. there are still some things that need to be mentioned - Haywire/Female President but right now I like them setitng up these key days where they have just escaped.

Also interesting how everyone is on there own now. Itll be interesting to see how much the other 6 escapees get involved with this season with Micheal and Lincoln clearly being the main charatcers of the show.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (8)

    • The heading of the newspaper article that Lincoln is reading says "Hearing Set for Burrow's Son". However, since Lincoln's surname is "Burrows" and not "Burrow", the heading should read "Hearing Set for Burrows' Son".

    • In the scene where Scofield is reading the newspaper sitting on a bench, you can see how the newspaper is folded in one shot and then unfolded in the next, and vice versa.

    • Goof: Bellick is barely audible during the scene when he's in his room having suicidal thoughts. How does his mother hear him muttering his responses to her questions with the door shut?

    • Lincoln lies that he is with the Des Moines Herald on the phone. There is no Des Moines Herald; the major newspaper in Des Moines is the Register.

    • Nick Savrinn's Bar Number is: 56437

    • When Pope goes to his office, the Taj Mahal is complete (before he destroyed it). In "Go", it fell down, which is why Michael had to go to his office. How did he fix it? He coudln't do on his own, or he wouldn't have needed Michael's help. Even if he found someone to do it, he couldn't have had the time, while he was busy looking for the cons, and then going to the meeting.

    • When Lincoln is talking to LJ on the phone, he tells him "On the third, look out for Otis right. Till then, keep your head up." This is code for third floor, elevator (OTIS) on the right. They would be entering from the top of the elevator.

    • T-Bag's get-away vehicle is a Chrysler Jeep with the On-Star system, however On-Star is only available in GM vehicles.

  • QUOTES (27)

    • T-Bag (to Dr. Gudat): I'll tell you something I know is true. The Indians here, the Tomahawk variety, some of them believed, well used to believe before most of them were slaughtered, that when a warrior kills another in battle, he absorbs that fallen warrior's spirit. So this isn't the end for you, Doc. You're with me now.

    • (On the phone)
Lincoln: I'm worried about you. I'm sorry for what you're going through.
LJ: Thanks. Word is, after this hearing because of my dad being so high profile, they're, they're shipping me to an adult facility in Kingman, Arizona.
Lincoln: Yeah well, hopefully that ain't going to happen.

    • (on the phone)
LJ: Hey, this uh, this fed came by and talked to me today.
      Lincoln: Yeah?
LJ: He wanted me to get my dad to turn himself in.
Lincoln: Well, knowing your dad, I doubt that's going to happen.

    • Ives: No family with Patoshik? Nothing?
FBI Agent: Yeah, until about four years ago, when he killed them all.

    • CO: Get any sleep?
      Bellick: Couple hours.
CO: Eight of them, I still can't believe it.
Bellick: This is exhibit A why you don't let women work in the military, the police force and especially inside a male prison. Because look what you get; Doctor Sweetcheeks leaves the door open for Scofield and here we are.
CO: Sounds like there's a little bit more to the story tha-
Bellick: If Tancredi doesn't leave her office door unlocked then those eight dirt bags would be in the SHU right now, okay? BOTTOM LINE!

    • Sucre: This is it, papi.
Michael: I hope you find the girl, buddy.
Sucre: She's all I have. I'll die trying.

    • Sucre: I wonder what happened to the other guys.
C-Note: They all had a head start, except for T-Bag.
Abruzzi: Yeah, he was bleeding pretty bad.
      Sucre: You think he's dead?

    • Michael: You just don't get it, everything we need is in that car.

    • Michael (to the other escapees): Last supper, boys. This is the part where we say good-bye.

    • Lincoln (about LJ): I failed him…I failed him.

    • T-Bag: You did one hell of a job, doctor.
Dr. Gudat: Well thank you. Well, ah…it's okay for you to leave now.
      T-Bag: Oh, I'm leavin'. And you're not.
      Dr. Gudat: What?
      T-Bag: You heard me.
Dr. Gudat: Look sir, I haven't seen anything and I won't tell anyone.
T-Bag (laughs): Well, you know, I fell for that bill o' goods before. Never again.

    • Detective (on phone): The warden over at Fox River called, asked to be kept in the loop. What should I tell him?
Mahone: That he's no longer in it.

    • Michael (about LJ): So how do we get close to him?
Lincoln: Well, when I was locked up I had nothing to do 'cept study the briefs. Nick Savrinn's bar number was on the front page of every one. We want to talk to LJ, we just-
Michael: We pose as one of his attorneys.

    • Michael: It's time to move. We got everything we need. Just a quick stop in Utah and then we're off to Mexico.
Lincoln: LJ has a hearing today to determine if he gets tried as an adult. I can get him.
Michael (sighs): It's not the right time.
      Lincoln: When will it be?
Michael: After we get to Mexico, after we're off the news.
Lincoln: They framed him for a double homicide. Soon as he loses his hearing they're gonna ship him to an adult facility. So today at the courthouse is my only chance to get him. They took Veronica. They're not gonna take my son.
Michael: I know. I know. I would never leave LJ behind.

    • Pavelka: How was Scofield able to have exclusive access to you, pull a shank on you, and bind you to your chair? The warden of the penitentiary.
Pope: I trusted him. Obviously he betrayed that trust.

    • Pope: Brad!
      Bellick: Yeah?
Pope: Now, they were last seen at that cemetery in Oswego.
      Bellick: We'll get 'em.
Pope: They'll get 'em. It's been handed over to the FBI.
Bellick: That doesn't mean we can't work it.
Pope: It does, actually. You and I have been pulled off the pursuit.

    • Mahone: I have to tell you, what your dad and uncle pulled off, very impressive. I've been doing this fourteen years and most escapes can be attributed to dumb luck or brute force. The planning and sophistication that went into this one…and 8 guys got out. I really do, professionally speaking, have a lot of admiration for Lincoln and Michael.
LJ: Cool. Now we're buddies. (Mahone chuckles) What do you need?
Mahone: Help me bring them in. Peacefully.
LJ: I don't know where they are. I don't know where they're going.
Mahone: There's another way you can help.
      LJ: How?
Mahone: Go on TV. I can have a camera crew here in half an hour.
LJ: You know what man? The murder charge they put on my dad, the two murder charges they put on me? Everything's been set up, comin' from way up top. So the fact that you work for the government…I got nothin' to say.

    • L.J. (to Mahone): What are you gonna do, throw another fake murder charge at me?

    • Warden Pope: It will be a cold day in hell when I turn my back on one of my own men! I quit!

    • Mahone: Get our man on all the area hospitals. Wherever they are, one of them's bleeding good. Which means... they either come to us, or they die.

    • Doctor Gudat: There is a belief in my religion that I know to be true, and it applies to everyone, Hindu or not. The acts we commit in this life determine where we go in the next, and he who commits evil can never hope for eternal happiness.
T-Bag: Never been a goal of mine, Doc. I'm more a here-and-now type.

    • Lincoln (to Michael): If this thing doesn't work out, and you wind up going back to Fox River, I ain't coming to get you. I mean, you are the brains, and I am the brute.

    • Abruzzi (to Michael): Maybe we'll see each other again. You never know. You never know.

    • T-Bag (to Doctor Gudat): I swear if you don't fix my arm I'm gonna slit your throat.

    • Mahone: Give yourself up and the kid can walk.

    • Lincoln (to Mahone): Keep it in the holster and no one gets hurt.

    • Mahone (to LJ): I want your dad, I want your uncle, and I'm willing to deal.
