A superb episode which takes you on one helluva roller coaster ride and leaves you hanging precariously waiting for the next shoe to drop. You won't be disappointed, the characters come together each with their own agenda and the acting is brilliant. An ensemble cast which has you gasping for more! Brilliant.

The best episode I've ever seen among all TV shows !!
well, I remember it quite well. Michael needed enough time to start digging in the cell, so he was advised by Sucre to make a failure in the ventilation system to make the prisoners angry and by the way they'll get mass imprisonment..... and finally they got it !! but further unwanted events happened... the prisoners-leaded by T-bag- succeeded to break the mass imprisonment and some of the prisoners found their way to Dr.Sara, so quickly when he knew about this, Michael went in a rescure mission.... on the other hand Lincoln escaped from a death trap.... My favourite episode !!moreless

Riots, Drills and the Devil (1) is that kind of episode that not only is the Best of the series, but sells this show. IF you had any doubts that this show is fantastic, and you have to put some of your believes aside, this show is one of the best ever made.

This is because of the tension created by the excellent problems that michael has to solve before the problems put the plan at risk. Since the kind of problems I am Talking is tha type that seems impossible to overcome.

Overall, this episode is perfect (talking about the overall emotions). You have some funny scenes, the escape plan to much exposed, lincoln in great danger, suspense, intensity, tension, a riot that make the difference, even Sara is involved and in danger. This seems like the perfect opportunity to michael escapes from the prison. The Cliffhanger could not be better than this.moreless

Falling behind schedule, Michael maneuvers the prisoners and guards into initiating a lockdown of the prison to give himself more time to dig, but it backfires when T-Bag starts a full-scale riot that threatens Lincoln, Sara and the escape plan itself. What can I say about this episode? I was blown away. This episode was awesome. I loved every single second of it. I was not ready for what happen in this episode. This episode was also nerve-wrecking and very, very exciting. All I can say is this show is absoultely amazing, I love this show so much. I am so excited to watch more and more. Prison Break is awesome...!moreless

    • Goof: In the first shot of Michael and Sucre's cell, there are clothes drying on the rope. However, in the next shot of the cell, all the clothes and the rope have suddenly disappeared. Edit
    • Hooke's Law of Elasticity, which Michael refers to when explaining his plan for breaking through the wall, is completely out of context and irrelevant to tensile strength. Edit
    • Goof: In the middle of the episode, when the situation's escalating in Gen. Pop. and C.O. Geary is facing T-Bag, right after the "Ain't that hot?" line, C.O. Mack can be seen just behind Geary. In the next shot, however, he is shown walking into the cell block. Edit
