Here's my idea for the premise of a much wanted revival of Prisoner cell block H.
Its 2008 and Wentworth is now a model Prison and under the reigns of Marty Jackson, With Meg Morris loking in from the dept, but soon to retire - Having been in the equvalent role of Ted Douglas. Lurch and few others remain, but apart from these and guest appearance, the rest of the cast are new, except for...
The Freak! Finally let out of Prison, and having become more bitter from the experiance she sets out to get revenge on anyone from her past she can get a hold of. Ultimatly placing most blame on Meg, and devises some very special to make her pay. This story line would be an ace way to revist many charecters it wouldn't make sense to put back in Prison.
Meanwhile in the now model Prison, after almost a decade of relative bliss for both the inmates and screws, things begin to go wrong. Once Meg retires, her replacement sets the seeds for the Prisons demise. A large portion of thier best officers are lost to other prisons who want help coping Wentworths success. The new Staff Wentworth recieves are everything from inadequte to bent.
To top things off, Wentworth is Lumbered with several of worst inmates imaginable. The show become a battle between Prisoners and the remaing Staff from the good old days, fighting the new Screws and inmates.
T he series ends when The Freak again gets her comeuppance and Wentworth gets back to being the way it was at the start.
I think watching Wentworh having become what Erica, Ann and Meg fought for all that time and then see it all fall apart, and then the battle to restore it to it former glory, with the Freak on a heel-bent quest for revenge is the perfect idea for a short comeback.
