  • Great crossover episode with multiple plots.

    Archer's surgery seems to have been a success. But a CTScan is ordered and what Archer thinks is more spores is actually drainage. In between the news Archer is blubbering and apologizing to everyone for everything because he thinks he is going to die.

    Dr. Sheppard is working on the woman whose aneurism was nicked in the previous episode when he was operating on her. She is having problems breathing and it is being caused by the baby. Dr. Sheppard and Dr. Montgomery team up to operate on her and her baby to save them both. All appears to have gone well until the in the end the woman is talking gibberish as the show ends.

    Back at the clinic in southern California a woman named Rachael brings in her baby who had an accident in the bathtub and almost drowned. As it turns out the woman tried to drown the baby because of her depression and psychosis. Violet wants to turn the woman in but Pete thinks the baby belongs with her mother. In the end Violet lets the baby stay with the parents.

    Charlotte is mad at Cooper for the amount of time he is spending with Violet. She thinks that she should be his best friend and not violet. Their relationship is up in the air.moreless

    This looked more like a Grey's episode rather than a Private Practice one. But nevertheless, I won't complain as it was an excellent one hour of medical drama. The episode kept swinging the pendulum between who's gonna live and whose gonna die. We see Archer first, all cured and set, while the Jen is facing a trade off between her life and her baby. Then Jen is fine, but Archer's new CT's show two persistent cysts and he's gonna die. Then again, the cysts are just temporary, and he'll live, but again Jen goes berserk and crazy but her baby gets to be healthy. Going down the pacific highway from Seattle to Santa Monica, we see Cooper, Violet, and Pete trying to help a woman who tried to kill her baby. We also see some friction in the friendship/relationships between Pete and Violet, and Cooper and Charlotte. An exciting episode, and a wonderful crossover.moreless

  • Fantastic crossover episode with Grey's Anatomy.

    This was brilliant stuff (so was the Grey's Anatomy episode that went before it). The drama continued together with a case of a woman with post natal depression which Cooper and Violet had to step in and help along with Pete. Cooper and Charlotte are still struggling to come to terms with their relationship now that Cooper has moved in with Violet to help her through her pregnancy. The scenes at Seattle Grace were fantastic and continued on from the Grey's Anatomy episode. Sam's asthma attack made everyone think he's still in love with Naomi, he says it's an allergic reaction. We'll have to see on that one. Overall, a classic!moreless

  • This is the Private Practice I grew to love.

    Talk about a wake up call for Private Practice (PP) and it took the collaboration of both shows to do it. Every single character in the plot was used to their fullest capacity and they kept me plunged into the drama of it all.

    This is why I watch this show, this is why I stay tuned in.

    !SPOILER ALERT!

    So Addison returns to the one place she left and it felt like a homecoming. Bailey was hilarious especially around Sam and Naomi. I actually felt like Sam and Naomi were old friends of Derek and they weren't out of place at all.

    Everything fit so perfectly, I couldn't believe how much history and chemistry was created between these characters. It was a tough job, but the writers pulled it off. The only thing I didn't take to was Archer's consistent whining, but that had no impairment on this weeks incredible installment. Even the transformation from Seattle to L.A. was beautifully done.

    If I had to point out my favorite scenes this review would be incredibly long. Credit still needs to be given to Mark threatening to hurt Archer for sleeping with his girlfriend, even though Archer was going to die... or so we thought. The twists and turns delivered for it fans. This goes to show that those who were Grey's Anatomy fans got a taste of what PP had to offer and vice versa. I liked how Addison was able to help Derek and rattle on about Derek's Hot Dog saving days when they were married... during an operation. :) That is what makes Addison-Addison.

    Talk about Sams love attack- eh em- asthma attack :). I really didn't figure Archer for the 'couple' type, but he seems to be trying for Naomi. I wonder how long would that last?

    What's with everyone singing Derek's love song for Addison, I wonder what the writers are trying to pull off?

    Is Sam rethinking his separation from Naomi? :-?

    Is Pete ready to be a father when the opportunity passes his way?

    Is Cooper ready to admit that his relationship with Violet transcends friendship, or is it just a friendship indeed?

    I really do not like the new Charlotte, all lovie-dovie over Cooper, I actually miss the no-strings-attached Charlotte.

    Overall a brilliant episode, there is lots more to be said, but let's hope the good quality of this show keeps coming. ____________________________________
