Private Practice: GA vs. PP

I just finished watching the second episode. I didn't like it much. After watching two episodes and GA's test pilot, I think Iam going to stop watching PP. I enjoyed PP pilot, but not the other two episodes (GA + tonight's).

I think the problem is: 1) not a hosptial setting so no instense or gross scenes. 2) People isn't fun. Interns are fun to watch, especially with that Nazi 3) Izzie. That's just me.

What about the rest of you?

I actually prefer this show over Greys. I like the cast A LOT more. I can't stand Pompeo anymore, she's terrible, and she will be the reason I stop watching that show all together. It's a shame too, because I do enjoy the rest of the cast, but she makes watching so difficult for me that I'm going to stop watching, or fast fowarding through her awful whinny scenes. Sorry wrong show, but I do love PP. I think it is very good, and I love Violet and Cooper!

Both shows are great!
but i love GREY'S better cause after all we have a long history (3 seasons!! compared to 2 eps).
but i think ill grow to love PP too with the rest of the grey's fans.

I agree with eli2006. I do feel Grey's is better because I've watched it longer, but Private Practice will grow on me too! They both deserve a 10!

I agree and disagree. I think Grey's is better than Private Practice, but I don't think Private Practice is THAT good. I will still continue to watch both of them, but GA over PP anyday.

Both shows are good. PP isn't supposed to be a carbon copy of Grey's, if it was, people'd be saying that it is TOO MUCH like GA. Both shows work well with what they do.

Grey's Anatomy is funnier overall, but Private Practice's storylines are better tearjerkers.

Private Practice doesn't even compare. The 1st episode was horrible, the 2nd was bad, and the 3rd I didnt see most of it, but from what I saw it wasn't good.

Funny. My VCR recorded the third episode. I forgot to delete it (just deleted it earlier). I watched the third episode since I had free time. It was OK. I still can't get into PP.

GREYS ANATOMY anyday of the week! although i love violet and cooper otherwise all you other cast members can like die and i really wouldn't care... exept mabey kate walsh she alright!

I like GA much better then PP. But i think if I start following the story on PP i will start liking that as well. Addison used to be my favourite character on GA. Even though she is changing a lot, she is still Addison...
The thierd episode of PP was much better than the first two.
The casts from both shows are great!

I love PP a lot more than GA right now. I love the characters a lot more they are so awesome. I would watch Grey's with more interest in it if they would get rid of the annoying Gizzie romance I hate it! It's annoying Izzie drives me crazy this season. There is no character on PP that drives me crazy I love them all and think they are an amazing cast and the show will only continue to get better and Grey's has continued to become worse this season.

Totally agree. cried every episode so far

but i do cry with most grey's episodes too....maybe i am just a crybaby!

I enjoy PP because they are more open to adventure out. Where Grey's is stuck in this Poor Meredith Rut. I mean, come on, how much longer are you going to keep pushing mcdreamy away. Tell him you love him and move in together. And the poor sister, she just wants to get into medicine, but she has to walk on egg shells around her half sister. PP is fresh, new and exciting. I still watch Grey's but am more excited when Practice comes on !
