  • A great episode. Good setup for the season finale

Well, this was probably one of Private Practice's best set up episodes. It really set the stage well for next weeks season finale. I thought this episode had a nice blend of drama! It came from all sides! I was really pleased that Charlotte & Cooper are starting to work things out. At the same time I really like how Sheldon stepped up & askd Charlotte out...All is fair in love & war! A side note: I am really starting to like the character of Sheldon. I love how they are starting to use him more in the story lines. I hope the keep him around for a long time! Also, I thought the episode ended just how it should have. Can't wait for next weeks episode!moreless
  • in the name of love

A fairly average episode of Private Practice, but surprisingly no partners were swapped tonight (although we were pretty close to that happening.)

The show is getting a little better than it was last season. They are trying some things and they are trying to distinguish it from Grey's Anatomy, but it is still too dependent on romance and not enough on actual medicine.

The ending was great though. Completely unexpected. I think that we were all expecting some cliched birth to happen (it still will eventually) but no one expecting an accident involving Maya. Great surprise ending to keep things fresh on PP.moreless
  • The setup for the finale.

And what a set up it was. That ending was horrible but in the best away. Maya and Dell in a cat crash!? That's gonna be bad. I loved the way bit was done as we saw Addison go from happy to horrified in seconds. I'm sure there is gonna be loads of drama next week.

I liked how Violet apologised to Pete and they sort of connected again. Plus I'm glad the Cooper/Violet friendship is okay as seen in a sweet scene where she tells him to go get Charlotte. Speaking of Charlotte...she is on a date with Sheldon who I'm liking more and more. Cooper was okay here too.

I like Amelia (Derek's sister) and loved her speech to that patient about seeing her father being murdered. I hope she becomes a regular cast member. There is something I like about Fife but her was being stupid with the William thing...I wonder what will happen? Naomi is going to have to watch William die.

So a great setup for the finale. Can't wait.moreless
  • The end was just ............. WOW!

In this episode of Private Practice, the following happens. Naomi and William return home in this episode and we see that he is getting much worse. Sheldon asks Charlotte out and she agrees. Maya is only 3 weeks away from her due date, but goes into labour early. She and Dell drive to the hospital, but they are involved in a car crash, will Maya or her baby survive?

Overall a brilliant episode, that has me totally hooked and wanting more. The end scene was a brilliant set up for the finale next week. It was shocking, surprising and something I did not see coming.moreless

    • Cooper: Are you still, uh, not talking to me? (Violet keeps walking) Okay. I had sex with Charlotte last night. It was supposed to be just dinner, but it became dinner with sex. I don't know what to do. (she remains silent) I had to do it, Violet. I couldn't lie on the stand. Come on, really? I need to talk to you.
      Violet: Talk to somebody else.
