This was another good episode of Private Practice, Violet was particularly good. The adoption storyline was very moving as was the moral dilemmas over the assisted suicide. In addition there were some lovely moments with Violet when she tells her patient, Nora, that she's pregnant and terrified about it and also when she talks to her best friend Cooper about what's happening. Addison seems to have decided that Kevin should go and wants to be with Wyatt instead. However, right at the end, she walks into Wyatt's office to find her brother and Naomi making out and her brother asking her if she likes his new office. So it seems that Wyatt's gone and the troublesome brother is going to be around for a while instead.moreless

  • Addison's kiss ruins a relationship, complications interfere with an adoption.

Aside from the doctors helping the man to kill himself, a storyline which was just done on Grey's Anatomy last week this was a fine episode. No blowaway storylines but some strong acting made this an entertaining hour. Taye Diggs continues to give strong performances and hopefully this show will actually last unlike all his past cancellations.

Amy Brenneman is also an incredibly talented actress but Violet's relationship is just really weird and is the quintessential example of a show's producers not having anything for a character to do.

But I am glad that Addison and Kevin are finally done, or at least we can hope so.moreless

    • Violet: I'm pregnant. Cooper: You're pregnant? Violet: And I don't know who the father is. Cooper, we are two of the most emotionally stunted people I've ever known. We've never made any progress in our personal life. We don't do personal growth and now, here you are, getting married, and I'm pregnant and we're just growing all over the place. Edit
