  • I'm interested to see where things go from here.

Things are changing and it's gonna be pretty interesting to see how that works out. Violet is still dealing with her attack and I enjoyed her storyline this week. Her speech about the rape was very intense and well delivered. Hopefully she moves on soon.

Charlotte decides to work at the practice...that should be an interesting move especially with Pete moving down to Naomi's practice as well. Cooper being broke was handled fairly well with the money issue with Addison. I don't think I like the idea of Addison and Sam as a couple which I know they're going to do at some point.

It just doesn't fit, I'd like a bit more of a storyline for Naomi as well actually. Good episode.moreless
  • Finally, a good episode.

As you know by now I am a fan of the brief first season of Private Practice, but feel that since then the show has lost its way by being relegated to Grey's Anatomy-lite and not really having an identity. When the show focuses on simple, but dark, storylines like they did tonight, Double P is one of the best medical dramas on television. Book a known guest star, Lucy Kate Hale from The CW's Privileged, have a storyline that begins with heartbreak, but ends happily, and throw in a few jokes along the way. It's a simple formula for success, but sometimes Private Practice just cannot figure it out. Luckily tonight they were able to.moreless
  • Above Average..

Private Practice couldn't really deliver the same amount of intensity Grey's provided an hour back, but nevertheless this was a decent offering.

We had variety collection of some stories involving all the characters. Sam's surgical skills are brought to test, and Addison starts to doubt his capabilities, when Sam wants to do a bypass on a homeless kid. Addison is given a reality check on two counts, one- she is made to realize not everyone is rich as her, after Cooper can't pay the 50 grand needed to buy out Naomi's shares. And two - Sam in fact successfully executes the heart surgery proving to Addison though she might be a world class surgeon, she should not doubt other's skills. Groundwork for a possible shakedown is also laid, when Charlotte want's to join Oceanside and Pete wants to join the rival practice. And Violet's story more or less discussed her progress toward making a complete recovery rightly symbolized the blood splatter on her floorboard , which she trashes using a hammer. A fine episode, but needs a shot in the arm before viewers get lost and disinterested.moreless
