  • great show annoying character...violet ugh

okay so i like this show alot but please someone tell me that they detest violet as much as i do!! she sucks at everything! i was so hoping they were killing her off at the beginning of this season. pete is way too awesome and sexy for her and she just drags cooper down in his life all of the time.

also woot addison and sam finally! hope that works out naomi is kinda annoying too. i think that if violet gets attacked by another patient and naomi like runs away or something this show will be perfect without the stupid whiny annoying females that seem to frequent the screen and embody the negative stereotypes of women that are circulated every day!moreless
  • I'm starting to really get into this show.

I saw the promo for this episode I thought the idea of Violet sleeping with Addison's father was totally stupid...but after watching it I changed my mind. It actually made sense. Somehow they made it a good storyline. Be it because of Violet feeling normal or Addison confronting her father for the way he treats her and her mother Busy. I really enjoyed it.

I also enjoyed the Naomi/Sam storyline with their daughter Maya. I liked the development we got on them as parents and look forward to see how they handle her rebelling in the future. Cooper is being a jerk...why is he annoyed just because Charlotte didn't tell him she was married before, a bit OTT really.

I liked the ending with Addison's father ringing her mother and threatening to reveal some kind of secret. Look forward to the next episode.moreless
  • Part 1

I liked tonight's Private Practice. I am enjoying 7th Heaven's Stephen Collins on the show in a very different role, than as the minister he was on that program, but more than that I really liked the scenes with Naomi and Sam as parents. Too often Private Practice focuses on bringing in these zany medical mysteries/dilemmas, but they forget that they have unintentionally created some backstories with these characters. Seeing them try, and fail, as parents was something unique for this show to do, but it worked and produced some really compelling television.

The ending was a bit obvious, and I do not want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but twists have not exactly been this show's forte. Still good start to the show's 2 hour Thursday block.moreless
