Goof: When Addison is telling everyone in the kitchen about her new patient who needs a partial birth abortion she never mentions her name. Yet during the conversation that follows, Naomi calls the patient "Patty". Addison never mentioned a name so Naomi wouldn't have known her name was Patty.
Goof: When Addison says to Patty that she's going to do an Ultrasound, there's a wide shot including the Ultrasound machine which already shows the Ultrasound scan even though it hasn't been performed yet.
Local anesthetic, which is not classed as a narcotic, is used when being given stitches and there are also several non-narcotic based pain killers making the scene where Amelia stitches Charlotte's wounds highly improbable, although it was mentioned during the scene that Charlotte is allergic to local anesthetic.

When the camera shoots her from the back, the baby is sleeping. When it shoots her on the front, the baby is awake. This happened at least three times in one minute.

When we are given the first view of Judy's baby for a new born he had a well healed belly button. There should have been a stump which would have taken up to 2 weeks to dry up and fall off and then additional time to heal to such a state.

When Pete is talking to Daniel after he tried to see Laura and the baby, when the camera pans to Pete, Daniel has the scrub gown hanging off one shoulder. When the camera pans back to Pete a second later, the scrub gown is nowhere to be seen, with no time for Daniel to take it off.
Goof: After Addison speaks with Naomi near the beginning of the show she clearly hits herself in the face with the door as she closes it.
With this episode being the season finale (due to the writers' strike) the first season of Private Practice ended up having the same number of episodes as the first season of the show it was spin-off from, Grey's Anatomy.
