All About the Ripple Effect was a superb and well written episode of Privileged and I really enjoyed watching this episode because it had a lot of character development for all the major characters mostly. Megan was dealing with family issues yet keeping Will at a distance about it, and the way this story line played out was perfect. Sage and Rose play a game of jealousy trying to out-maneuvereach other with love interests. In the end they made up and Megan was shocked to learn that her mother missed her flight. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!

Nicely done drama with Megan his week, less with Rose and Sage.

This particular episode really brought out both Will and Charlie's feelings towards Megan, culminating in the double date scene which was very nicely done. Will was quite direct with Megan when he wanted her to know how it bothered him that she never talked through her family issues with him, yet she always talked things through with Charlie first. The mother turning up was quite a shock and it looks like she is here to stay. Megan's father is very undramatic, I'm not sure what's going to happen with him. Lily's marriage was rather swept under the carpet in light of Megan's mother returning. The scenes with Rose and Sage were quite entertaining but were somewhat secondary to Megan's storyline this week. Overall this was a good episode setting us up for the new year's new episodes.moreless

Megan's estranged mother returns and much to her surprise is befriended by her father. Sage and Rose play tricks on each other so they can admit their feelings for boys in the picture. Will and Megan double date with Charlie and Mandy.moreless

Most of this episode classified as the best drama Privileged has been able to achieve so far. The suspense of Lily getting married was tastefully put on hold for the shocking return of her mother that abandoned the family when Megan was 7. The conflict between Megan, her mother and her father was bittersweet and well done, and it looks like we will be seeing more of the crooked mother.

What didn't work was the Sage and Rose situation, mainly because it was basically a filler sequence, trying to find a clever way to put Sage and Luis together. But to pull Rose in and make a cat and mouse game that I just wanted to end was disappointing - they're much more entertaining and real when around Megan but obviously she was preoccupied.

The conflict between Will and Charlie is fantastic and the double date scene was perfect. What else was perfect was the ending, as the mother staying meant more than it seemed. The hidden meaning of Will's advice being completely wrong and Charlie's right indicates that Will is wrong for her. The sooner Will goes the better!moreless

The Charlie Will drama is very interesting. I don't think either of them with ever have a real relationship until they figure there stuff out. I am glad that will didn't hold in his emotions, and he came out and told megan what was bothering him. Their relationship is so cute. I the girls are having boy drama, and I love it they have been so into the school and career thing that I am glad to see that they are widening their horizons. I with they would hook Marcus up with someone he seems to be the only one in the house without any guy drama.moreless
