The designers are broken up into teams of three, with one head designer, a fabric purchaser, and an accessories designer. Ben de Lisi names the head designers, but the leaders get to choose their teammates.
Team One: Giles (head), Wayne (fabrics), and Fatz (accessories).
Team Two: Shawla (head), Luke (fabrics), and Henry (accessories).
Team Three: Tyla (head), Luisa (fabrics), and Monika (accessories). -
As a field trip to help them find the inspiration for their Challenge, the designers spend Lady's Day at the Newmarket Races.

Monika: Honestly, it's just- it's pretty crazy. I thought the last week I was having a nervous breakdown. I think that is nothing compared to this.

Melanie Rickey: (on Henry's contribution) The fact that Henry was so proud of his sausage shaped, newspaper shaped bag and that he clearly thought this was a great achievement suggested to he he couldn't do any better than that in this competition and that he'd reached the height of his powers as a designer and he ought to really go back and learn some more.

Lady Isabella Hervey is a socialite as well as being a model/actress. She's the daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol, and was named one of FHM's top 100 sexiest women (62nd).

Frankie Dettori is one of the most famous and most popular jockeys in the world. He has brought in winning horses in races all over the world, and once rode all seven winners in a single day's racing at the Ascot Racecourse. In 2000 he was awarded an honorary MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member).
