    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (7)

      • For the first time, Kelly takes herself out of the final decision of who will be sent home.

      • The designers are told that they must pitch their garments to buyers in the industry, to convince them that their creations are commercially viable and will capture new consumers.

      • Seeing how messed up Debbie's Mac was, Ben de Lisi picked a seam apart and cut some of her material for her so that she could have a finished garment for the catwalk.

      • Katy and Ross will be working with MacIntosh to create their garments commercially.

      • Fionnuala celebrates her birthday during this episode.

      • There were two winners, since half the group designed for menswear and the other half for womenswear.

      • The top designers were Katy, Ross, Viv, and Chelsey, with two winners: Katy and Ross. The bottom three were Debbie, Angie, and Jasper, with Debbie being sent home. This is Ross' second win of the competition.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Kelly: (on Jasper's decision to send his model down the runway in briefs) All you stared at was his package instead of the actual garment that was walking down the catwalk!

      • Ben de Lisi: (on Katy's menswear design) It looks a little womanswear-y, to me. Would you date a man wearing that kind of jacket?
Katy: (trying to keep the sleeve with alterations) Okay, what about a straight sleeve into that? Got rid of the puff?
Ben de Lisi: Answer my question!
        Katy: No.

      • Angie: (as they are being driven to their mystery client) Worst case scenario, a big, fat Mac. I would find that utterly boring.
