    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (4)

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Kenley: (referring to the tour bus ride they are taking) This is fun, it's like a ride!

      • Keith: I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. All sides of my family are practising Mormons. Being gay in Salt Lake City is really difficult.

      • Joe: (seeing the amount of work everyone has left) It's gonna be interesting to see how many pincushions go down that runway today.

      • Tim: (leaving the workroom) I'll see you in the morning, thank you, goodnight, make it work, carry on, holla atcha boy!

      • Leeanne: (spending all her time constructing her skirt) At this point she's going to go topless.
Kelli: Just make her a bra.
        Emily: Pasties!
Kelli: Yeah, there you go, pasties. Just put straps on them.

      • Emily: Do you guys mind if we cross the street to the sex shop?
Jerell: (seeing a mannequin's pose in the window) Oh, my God.

    • NOTES (5)

      • There is an exit interview by the model Alyssa in the bonus footage at the Bravo website, even though she wound up returning to the show when Keith's model Runa had to drop out of the competition.

      • When asked in her exit interview if she would change anything if she had the chance to do it all over again, Emily said that she would have made a different dress, and that she would have defended her design more strenuously in front of the Judges, as she believes the other contestants did. In the aired version of the interview, however, she states that she still stands behind her garment, even though she says that she made a dress that was very atypical of her usual design aesthetic.

      • When interviewed for Bravo's website, Guest Judge Sandra Bernhard revealed that she lobbied to have Terri named the winner of the challenge, but the others preferred Kenley.

      • According to Tim's blog, Stella used "pleather" (plastic leather), not leather, to make her design.

      • According to one of the Producers, they were glad in a way that the weather was so bad when the contestants went on their city tour. This was because there were fewer other people out, allowing the contestants to be incognito even when with Tim Gunn, who would have been recognized very easily by the people of New York. He also said that the wetness gave the cityscape a beautiful sheen in the neon lights that otherwise wouldn't have been there.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Kelli: (finding her inspiration) Fire hydrant catches my eye that's black and silver, and it kind of represented the end of the world, Mad Max type of look.
Mad Max is the first of a trilogy of films set in a post-apocalyptic Australia, starring Mel Gibson.
