  • Irina takes out Season 6 Project Runway.

    6.5
This season was probably the first season where most of the designers were kicked out based on their poor work - and no leniency was shown because of their "talent". In previous seasons, poor designers seem to linger and linger. However, because of this - the season became predictable and the 3 girls making the final were not hard to figure out. And watching Irina win seemed to be inevitable - especially since she was one of the better designers on the show and seemed to understand how to show her clothes on the runway better than the other 2 girls.moreless

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Carol Hannah: I feel the same as I did last night. This is a really critical point and there's a lot of work ahead and if I'm lying with my head in the toilet, that's not very helpful!

    • Tim: Anything else you're concerned about?
Althea: (crying) I'm just getting overwhelmed.
Tim: No, I understand. You're fragile right now. But you also have a trajectory. This is a 'make it work' moment.

    • Gordana: I know you saw me walking with coffee, but I'm working, believe me!

    • Althea: Tim's getting really really frantic. That is a little unnerving, because usually Tim's, like, the calm in the room. Things must really be in bad shape!

    • Althea: I'm really excited to show you my collection today. I honestly feel like I'm about to show you kinda like a piece of my soul. I was inspired by sci-fi movies from the 50s and 60s and how they saw the future and so I kind of wanted to introduce what the woman of today would wear tomorrow.

    • Irina: My collection's really about New York. Home is where the heart is. It's really about what it takes to sort of survive in the city as a woman and it's about comforting and shielding yourself and just going at it.
