  • Best season start ever!

    This is one of best reality show start. I agree with judges that Simone eliminated. Her dress is abouslety horrendous. top 3 is Christian, Rami and Victoryia and winner is Rami. Bottom three is Ricky, Simone and Elisa and Bottom two is Elisa and SImone and eliminated is Simone. This is so cool! must see this!!!!! I grade this A. this is rock! . . . .. . .. . .. . . . . .. . . .. . .. . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . .. . .moreless
  • Designing and sewing for the everyday woman is very challenging and appreciated!!

    9.8
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. With only 15$ to spend, I thought the designers did well. The winning outfit was adorable. I had picked that design as the winner from the time it was sketched. When you think about it, $15 is not much at all...very hard to find material of any substance and quality to make an entire outfit. I'm not sure how appropriate the winning dress was for the SJP line, but SJP did like it......so, I guess we shall see how it sells. I love to watch Project Runway. I have developed a greater respect for designers. And, Heidi always looks so beautiful!!moreless
  • Kinda boring.

    8.2
I was expecting way more than what was delivered. I thought the past seasons definitely wowed me more compared to this year's first episode. The designers are well and truly a bunch of lovable wack jobs (most of them anyways) and of course that's always a good thing.

I guess it says a lot when the last 50 seconds was the best part of the whole thing when they showed what's coming up in future episodes. I hope there'll be as much drama as they promised but knowing the cunning editors, I'm not anticipating a lot as it could well just be over-hyped. It looked like someone related to Jack passed away but then that's just my own speculation. Can't wait for the show to start moving a bit, just hoping it'd be as good as ever.moreless
  • I can't say I was 'wowed' but the look on Tim's face as the bizarre new age lady crawled on chiffon over Bryant Park made my week

    8.5
So here we are again with another season of B****y over-the-top designers and glue-on dresses. I'm willing to openly put my money on the Jay 2.0 costume designer. In the past I've rooted for Jay, Daniel V., and Jeffery. I'm aware that this speaks volumes about my fashion sense, but I'm going to stick with my gut.

So the designer's first challenge was a bit of a let down, the most challenging part being a jog across the park to the piles of glorious fabrics. I was slightly hoping to see a few skipping across the lawn, like the adorable elf like flamboyant boy, and as I type this I realize that that really isn't a very specific description. The odd ball of the show was quickly established when the yoga-friendly new age woman decided to "infuse part of the fabric with something natural" as she began to rub grass stains into some fabric. Tim's face was the thing this show was built on. I was a bit miffed when the judges announced that the winner of this challenge was the mother of the bride/dull as hell/ Grecian through back. I however was not surprised when they kicked of the sedated simple girlish-wear girl rather than Miss Grass Stain, despite the fact that her model was tripping over herself as she walked down the runway. She is far to interesting to boot off after one episode, I can't wait to see what crazy high jinx she pulls off next week (please tell me it includes 'hand measuring'). Why get rid of reality television gold when you could get rid of little miss sedative. Seriously, did she have more than one expression during the entire show? That covers just about everything; however I'm still not convinced that the sassy ex-model isn't actually a drag queen.moreless
  • My first episode of PR ever and i'm completly hooked!

    9.8
This was the first episode of Project Runway i've ever seen, although I was very aware of it. I just always missed the season opener and I don't like watching reality shows not starting with the second episode. But I always wanted to try it. And I loved it, like I knew I would. This seems like a really great batch this season, even the worst designer was pretty good. I already can see some favs i'm rooting for. I thought it was so clever to make them run for the fabrics and grab whatcha can get. I also liked that the design should showcase your style, so everyone can get to know the designers better. It was visually appealing, entertaining, humourous, addictive, and I couldn't wait to see who was "in or out"! I can see this is going to be a great season and I can't wait for the next episode and to follow every episode of the season.moreless
