For the first time in the history of Project Runway two designers working in team were declared as the winner of the episode.
Emilio Sosa and Seth Aaron Henderson were the double-winners of this episode.
Top two teams were Emilio & Seth Aaron and Anthony & Maya.
Bottom two teams were Amy & Jonathan and Jay & Mila.
The designers had to work in teams of two finding their inspiration in the streets of New York.
Seth Aaron and Emilio went to Harlem.
Amy and Jonathan were in Upper East Side.
Anthony and Maya visited Chinatown.
Jay and Mila found inspiration in East Village.
Emilio: Harlem is about churches, liquor stores, and fried chicken spots.
Seth Aaron: Well, I'll do the liquor store and the fried chicken.
Maya: I'm really glad Anthony chose me as a partner. We're having fun, he's making me laugh, and he's bringing the silly into it. Sometimes I need a little dose of that.
Jay: (about working with Mila) We're working very professionally. I just wanna put on a really good show and forget about the fact that she doesn't like me or I don't like her.
Tim Gunn: Someone's going home.
Jay: Don't look at me!
Jonathan: When Tim said the word 'over designed,' I was like, 'Oh my God!' I mean, I'm literally at this point using every technique I know how to do on this one garment. He's right, this could be a carnival.
