Project Runway Season 1 Episode 2

Wendy: I have been unfolding a strategy. I was going to get people to confide in me, and I would make sure to be there if they seemed to be in a weak spot. Anything that I thought later in the game I could use to my advantage, if I needed to get them out of my way.

Jay: (when accused of stealing dye by Kevin) I'm not a liar, I'm not a stealer, but I wanna be, and I wanna play one on TV.

Starr: (referring to part of her dress) The concept is 'Envy', so what I'm trying to convey is that they're sort of like tumors.
Customer: (pause) Wow.

Jay: (after the silent auction) I just know not to, uh, ever dress as Jesus for something like this again, cause people are thrown off by religious icons. They do not want to talk to Jesus. I should have at least come as one of the Apostles.

Constance White: (looking at Robert's pantsuit) Where is 'Envy' in your outfit?
Robert: I came up with, this is penis envy. And to be honest with you, my mother wears the pants in the family. She actually has the balls in the family.

Wendy: Everything I do in this competition is strategic. I know that exploiting my role as a mother is kind of evil, truly. But if it's gonna help me get to the end, you can believe that I'm gonna do it.

Austin: I think there's a little Evil Queen in all of us.
