AIRED:
Biff Grimes, a dentist, marries Amy but thinks he should have married Virginia instead. When he meets Virginia a few years later she's become a materialistic social climber, married to a wealthy blowhard, and he realizes he made the right choice.

Adapted from the play by James Hagen that opened February 15, 1933 at the Little Theatre in New York City and ran for 322 performances. The original cast included Lloyd Nolan as Biff, Francesca Bruning as Amy, Rankin Mansfield as Hugo, Mary Holsman as Amy and Percy Helton as Snappy Downer. Film versions were made in 1933 (with Gary Cooper, Frances Fuller, Neil Hamilton & Fay Wray), 1941 (as "The Strawberry Blonde" with James Cagney, Olivia de Havilland, Jack Carson & Rita Hayworth) and as a musical in 1948 (with Dennis Morgan, Dorothy Malone, Don DeFore & Janis Paige).
