(intro for The Fire Within)
Spontaneous human combustion - official fire and arson investigation manuals do not include humans in the list of the numerous substances prone to spontaneous ignition. There are, however, many documented and photographed instances of people appearing to burn up from the inside out, incinerating bones that would take thousands of degrees to reduce to ashes with virtually no effect on the environment around them. The OSIR has occasionally been summoned to analyze cases of this nature.

The conclusion in this file pointed away from the spontaneous human combustion phenomenon, and towards a man made conspiracy to eliminate domestic terrorists employing artificial accelerant combustibles in order to exact a subversive and darkly poetic justice.
(intro for Fate)
Adolesence, a period of human growth in which the body undergoes dramatic and accelerated changes. This degree of physical and emotional development over such a short period of time can make it a confusing and traumatic event for a young person. In the following case the OSIR found that Corey Stillman's adolesence included the onset of psychic ability.
