We all know he has a 72 Norton 750 Commando he never rides. But he's dating now and bringing Gus is lame. I know at the movie with Abigail it was because of the case, but you can't go on proper dates on a bike. Outings later okay but picking up a date who's wearing a dress on a bike is dumb, and many women wouldn't like it much.

I think he needs a small extra cab truck room for 4 people and he can carry his bike in the back and look cool doing it. Now I can't wait to see how many of you say flashy sports car.

i agree that shawn needs a car. we never see him ride his bike anyway! maybe he should've kept the car from "disco didn't die" hahah. actually...didnt the car die or something? maybe not. but he needs his own transportation.

No sports car, no car. I think the fact he has to rely on Gus for a ride is part of what makes the show. But, that's just my thought.

I agree, I love that Shawn rides in the "little blue car".

If this was real life, then, yes, Shawn definitely needs a car. For the very reasons you mentioned.

(Besides, in the commentary for "Spellingg Bee," James Roday admits that he absolutely doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle. This is why you never see Shawn on his motorcycle anymore. Except briefly in one episode where he's on a stakeout, you can see him sitting on it.)

In terms of the show, it's funnier if he has to rely on Gus for transportation.

Agreed, part of the shows charm is Shawn relying on Gus for a ride.

I ummm... third or forth that opinion (I'm not sure which..). I think it's halarious that Gus was in the back of the car. It's just not complete without the Guster ^^

Psych isn't real life, and for good reasons. I mean really, who wants to sit and watch an hour of normal, everyday life?

Yeah the season had to end with a scene that involves Gus.

I agree. Shawn's not having a car is awesome (show wise). I love Gus's frustration that he has to keep bringing Shawn places because for some reason or another the bike won't do and he needs to go in a car.
