A night of partying which no one remembers that turned deadly sets Shawn, Gus, Woody and Lassiter on the trail of their deeds and a way to clear their names of suspected murder. Unfortunately, they may have to depend on Shawn's "psychic" memories of the night's events.

Pineapple Spotting: in Gus's house, as a feature on the glasses shown in the close up when his drink is being drugged
Goof: The messages on Gus' phone from Shawn are out of order; 7:38am (his most recent), then 4:33pm, then 4:35pm.
Per a Tweet by Dulé Hill, James Roday improvised his screaming speech in the morgue, and he did it in one take.
Woody: Guster, your cholesterol is really high.
Shawn: Man, I told you eating something called "stick of butter in a bun" was a bad idea!
Gus: I can't help it, Shawn, my body craves buttery goodness.
Shawn: You are buttery goodness.
Gus: You know that's right!
Gus: What happened last night?
Shawn: Strangely, I have no idea.

Working Title: Last Night Gus Got Game
Shawn: Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeroy Jeeeennnnnnnnnnnnkins!
This is a reference to the viral video sensation from sometime in 2006 when footage of a strategy session from the game World of Warcraft was 1st posted at the WoW player guild and then spread to the general public. The clip shows a raid team discussing battle tactics for a difficult fight and Leeroy, who has been away from his computer during the discussion, returns and charges into the battle shouting his name as a battle cry.
Shawn: He can't quit him.
Shawn references Jack's line to Ennis when he says, "I wish I knew how to quit you." in Ang Lee's 2005 film Brokeback Mountain about the secret relationship of two cowboys that went on for several decades.
