Werewolf case...really??

Out of 8 episodes in this season, this is the third one where Psych delves into the realm of mysticism/supernatural/paranormal. We had one where a girl was possessed, second where a guy believes he is cursed, and third a man who believes he is a werewolf.

I certainly not expecting Psych to be a crime drama like the Mentalist, and so far I've enjoyed the perfect mix of comedy and crime solving the show has provided. But tracks like these are an insult to a normal adult's intelligence. Otherwise, I did like this episode. Shawn and Gus worked out the usual magic, well supported by Henry, Lassiter, and Jules. Well, I just hope this is an episode to put an end to all ridiculously plotted episodes.moreless

You can always count on Psych for producing a few good belly laughs, but a plethora of the recent storylines have just been really, really bad. A werewolf? Really? Because we all thought that Psych would end with the guy actually being a werewolf.

I did like the wrestling references in the beginning and the two actually watching the Royal Rumble (even though that airs in January and it is now October) but this was nothing more than a filler episode and few could argue differently.

Psych has really been off its game lately. Hopefully they can turn things around soon.moreless

Shawn debunks a werewolf and solves some murders with an ecletic collection of guest cast members. Although the episode needed to expand more character depth in it's guests-like previous episodes, it was enjoyable to watch.moreless

This is definitely a show to watch. What I found so funny is that they chose to get David Naughton to play the doctor...most people in my age group will remember him from the "National Lampoon's American Werewolf in London" movie...a great movie in it's own right. David played the werewolf in the movie, and here he plays the doctor. Also, Bif from "Back to the Future" movies? Thomas Wilson, now comedian, plays Mr. Spencer's nemesis in this episode..You are tricked to believe he is a questionable guy because of his role as Bif. Talk about typecasting.
