The woman touching up Shawn's makeup before his television interview is Wendy Snowdon who is the key make-up artist for Psych.
Goof: Lassiter shows Elin two photos. First, he shows her a photo of someone Elin calls "Cory," and then he shows her the second photo which she names as "Erik". Later, when Mary Pasternak, Elin's employer, is questioned, Mary misidentifies Erik as Cory. Then, back at the precinct, their board shows photos of the two men again identified incorrectly, at least according to the first ID by Elin.

The song "Cry Little Sister" from the vampire film Lost Boys plays when Gus & Shawn talk to the Bartender (played by Corey Feldman who was in Lost Boys).
