Psych is unable to get out of this mini-slump they are in. I actually like Anthony Anderson, but he was unbelievably annoying in this episode. I get that was kind of the point, but to be fair it was annoying and led me to really hate this episode, an episode with a premise in Juliet and Shawn on opposite sides of a case, that could have been exciting.

    • Lassiter: So you two breaking up over this?
      Shawn: No.
      Juliet: Of course not.
Lassiter: Well, don't forget, I used to be involved with someone on the force, and it gets very tricky keeping work issues from becoming personal. Now that I'm dating an incarcerated civilian, things are much simpler. Minus the 2-inch glass and the leg shackles.
Juliet: Uh, we appreciate your concern, Carlton. But I don't take it personally that Shawn took on Thane's case, even though I am fairly certain that he is guilty.
Shawn: And I don't take it personally that Juliet feels that way, even though she simply couldn't be wronger.
Lassiter: (cheery) You two are so breaking up over this.

    • Shawn: Just because you put syrup on something don't make it pancakes.
