    • TRIVIA (2)

      • When Joey and his father pull up behind Henry and Punky's apartment building to pick them up for the amusement park, you can see a view of the Chicago skyline behind Punky's treehouse, but it is very obvious that it's a curtain. It isn't hanging straight, and you can actually see the creases in it.

      • In the scene where Punky confronts Joey about his dad's drinking and driving, Joey gets really angry and starts screaming at her. It may have been more convincing if the young actor playing Joey wasn't obviously trying so hard not to laugh. Then, after Punky leaves, Joey sits on his bed and is supposed to be mad, but he's clearly smiling.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Henry: (when Punky thinks that Joey's father was drinking and driving) Punky, when you accuse people of things, you have to have proof. The fact that you thought you smelled beer isn't enough. What you smelled could have been new upholstery.
Punky: I know what upholstery smells like. This wasn't upholstery. This was Miller Time!

      • Mike: I am as dry as the proverbial bone. What's in the old watering hole? You got any brewskies?
Henry: No, but I have iced teaskies.
        Mike: You and Grandma Moses.

      • Joey: My father wouldn't do anything to hurt me.
Punky: Not on purpose, but maybe if he had too much to drink--
Joey: Maybe you ought to mind your own stupid business! You're just jealous. At least I have a real dad. You probably don't even know who your real dad is. I don't want to ever talk to you again. Beat it!

      • Punky: (to Joey about his father's drunk driving) I just thought the drive home yesterday was a little scary.
        Joey: Cherie, were you scared?
Cherie: Uh...only when my eyes were open.

      • Punky: (dressed in a hockey-like outfit) I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
        Henry: (shocked) Punky!
Punky: I've made up my will. I've left everything to you and Brandon. Sorry, Henry, but you've wanted my Madonna tapes.
        Henry: Punky, you look ridiculous.
Punky: (because Henry is wearing shorts) Speaking of ridiculous, what about those knees?

      • Joey: My dad would never do anything to hurt me!
Punky: Not on purpose, but maybe if he had too much to drink--
Joey: Maybe you ought to mind your own stupid business! You're just jealous. At least I have a real dad. You probably don't even know who your real dad is! I don't ever want to talk to you again! Beat it!

    • NOTES (1)

      • In chronological order, this episode would come after the "Open Door, Broken Heart" two part, which was the two part where Punky first met Joey.
