  • Sam leaps into a young Al, who is being tried for the murder of his commanding officer's wife.

One of my favorite episodes of the entire series. We get to see Al Calavicci as a young man which is interesting, revealing, and humorous at times. We also get an unexpected twist when Al counts down Sam's percentages of successfully completing his mission. My favorite moment of this series is probably when he counts down to zero and we hear Roddy McDowell's voice. Just an overall entertaining episode that also showed how much Sam needed and cared for Al. I think this is more entertaining if you've watched a few episodes first, but this could also serve as a great "introduction episode" to Quantum Leap.
