      • Al: Those morons, they guard their computer secrets like a little virgin guards her... (Sam gives Al a look) Al: ...her stamp collection. Why are you looking at me like that? Edit
      • Sam: Why do we even bother? Al: 'Cause that's what we do. We're...professional botherers. Edit
      • Sam: The most important thing is that you have faith. You gotta believe. Because if you believe, even in the face of your so-called facts, miracles can happen. Edit
    • Allusions

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Sam tells Annie that she thinks there's a magical land of Oz beyond the town's borders that will solve all of her problems. This is, of course, a nod to the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, in which a young Kansas farmgirl gets taken to this mystical land after growing bored of her farm chores. Edit
      • When Sam and Clinton hype the townspeople up about the coming rain, Al likens them to Barnum and Bailey, the famous ringleader's of the circus. P.T. Barnum is known for the quote, "A sucker is born every minute." (Even if he never said it.) Edit
