When Sam and Al are backstage, Al clearly bumps into a curtain with his arm gestures, causing it to sway.
As Al is a hologram, he should not be able to do this.
In this episode Sam is a British rock star in 1974. He has a 16-year-old son conceived after a show in Omaha, Nebraska. Since no British rock band before The Beatles in 1964 had any success in America, it seems highly unlikely that a British rock band would be touring the USA in the late 1950s.
I think the date on the screen saying when Sam leaped in must be wrong, because when Al tells Sam that Tonic, the man he's leapt into, will be murdered three days after Sam leaps in, he says it will happen after the band's next concert, and lists the date as April 24. If Sam had leapt into April 12, then the next concert would be April 15, which leads me to believe that the leap date should be April 21, and it's a typo.
Scott Bakula does all the singing in this episode, and the tune 'Fate's wide wheel' is on the QL soundtrack CD
In this episode when Sam is in the dressing room. Where he wants to take the make up off. If you look at the picture that is hanging or the poster of the band hanging in the background (on the wall). It is similar to KISS'S first album cover that they released.
The group's make-up is similar to the makeup work by the rock group KISS.
Sam and Al, while discussing musical influences for Sam's performance, parody the famous "Who's on First" skit made famous by Abbott and Costello.
