  • Sam as a woman

    10
Any episode of Quantum Leap where Sam wears a dress has to get a rating of 10 out of 10. This episode definitely was one of the best episodes of Quantum Leap I have ever seen. Al as per usual was checking out all the girls from the pageant, he never changes. Sam getting nervous around everybody was funny but one of the most hilarious parts of this episode had to be when he and the other deep south pageant contestants were practicing their speech with the umbrella. Almost forgot about the look on his face when he was told he would have to wear a bathing costume. Can Quantum Leap get any better?moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • One of Sam's "suitcases" is a 1969 Barbie two-doll case with the Barbie logo and the drawings of the dolls whited out. It's similar to the single case that appeared in the episode "Maybe, Baby," but is larger in size.

    • Anachronisms: The stock footage of the audience during Sam's performance is clearly from the 80's and not the 50's. This is because African Americans are not segregated in the crowd and the hairstyles do not match the time period.
