While the Cuban Missile Crisis unfolds, Sam is a college student helping his older brother sell bomb shelters in order to earn some extra money.

As public fear and paranoia rises, Sam has to prevent a neighbor from being killed by his brother.

This mission objective is pretty simply, which lets the episode focus most on how terrified adults and children were during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The episode does a great job explore the psyche of the main characters, and how their fears were shaped and fed by the Cold War politics and (well meaning) domestic mass media.moreless
