Al: What about the Quantum Rules? You have to at least pretend that you are who you leap into.
Sam: That's if I'm a human. I'm not a human, I'm a chimp. We don't have rules for chimps, do we?
Al: You can't get off on a technicality.
Dr. Ashton: Ok, let's do your diaper.
Sam: No, no, no...
Dr. Ashton: ...Ok, Bobo, ok. Have it your own way...
Sam: Nobel prize in physics, I'm fighting to keep my diaper on, what's next?
Al: (While Sam is eating a monkey treat) How's it taste?
Sam: You ever eaten a cat box?
[Sam drinks some juice and makes a face.]
Al: What now? What's the matter? What?!
[Sam wiggles finger.]
Al: Caterpillars again? Ah, no.
Sam: How about Corey?
Al: She and Bobo have a baby.
Sam: Oh, well, thank goodness I won't be around for that.
The one and only time that Sam Leaps into an animal.
When Dr. Ashton confronts Stern about kidnapping Corey, and Sam communicates with her to reveal the doctor's sinister experiments, Stern asks, "Who do you think you are? Doctor Doolittle?" Doctor Doolittle is a fictional character from Hugh Lofting's series of books. In these books, the doctor can converse with the animals to determine what's troubling them.
