Vengeance
AIRED:
An assassin disrupts the Harvest Festival, when his crossbow fells Don Aguilera, the father of Tessa's childhood friend, Ramon. The grief-stricken son swears vengeance, which Tessa more than understands – until she, as the Queen of Swords, discovers that the shooter's target was not Don Aguilera, but Dr. Robert Helm. It seems that the good doctor has his fair share of secrets, too. Intrigued, the Queen tries to protect Helm, and finds herself caught between Montoya and a range war.moreless

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Tessa: Your either a messy housekeeper or-
Doctor Helm:- I've decided to stay.
Tessa: Till someone else comes gunning for you?
        Doctor Helm: Something like that.
Tessa: I don't suppose there's any point in asking what it was all about?
Doctor Helm: That's back in the past now where it belongs. I'm glad you came though.
        Tessa: You are?
Doctor Helm: I wasn't sure when I would see you again.
        Tessa: Am I missing something?
        Doctor Helm: Maybe.
        Tessa: Should I be flattered?
Doctor Helm: Well, thats up to you. (he pulls out her sword) But, I'm just returning your sword.
        Tessa: Ah... Thank you, Doctor.
Doctor Helm: Oh, by the way (he turns to see he's alone)...its nice to be back.

      • (Montoya has killed Latham after Latham attacks Helm)
Doctor Helm: Your a complicated man, Colonel.
Montoya: Not really. Killers and assasins they are, how you say, a dime a dozen. But where would I find another doctor?
        Doctor Helm: Or another horse?
(Tessa rides away on Montoya's horse)
        Tessa: Adios, Colonel!
Montoya: That's my horse! You see? A life for a life. The Gods, they mock Montoya.
Doctor Helm: It's a long walk back to town, Colonel.
Montoya: So it is. (They begin walking) You know, doctor, sometimes I think I'm too virtuous for my own good.
Doctor Helm: Don't push it, Colonel.

      • (Doctor Helm has tackled Tessa from her horse not knowing it was her following him)
Tessa (with a knife to his throat): With those kind of moves no wonder your still single.
Doctor Helm: Either slit my throat and get it over with or take your knee off my-!
Tessa:- Alright, alright. (she gets up, jerking him up too) What the hell are you doing leaping off rocks?
Doctor Helm: What the hell are you doing following me?
Tessa: Tell me why your leaving town.
Doctor Helm: Tell me who's under the mask.
Tessa: I asked you first. (he walks away) I'm talking to you.
Doctor Helm: This is all your fault.
Tessa: Are you looking for something?
        Doctor Helm: My horse.
        Tessa: Horse.
Doctor Helm: Horse! Equis. Four legs, big head, long tail.
Tessa: There's a ranch a few miles west. You could always get a new one there. That is of course if your still planning on running away.
Doctor Helm: I am not running away!... I am walking.
