  • Why Brian, Why?

    10
The two positives in this episode: Deb getting her job back and Lindsay and Melanie starting to make up. However, the Hunter storyline and the Britin angst are breaking my heart - I hope everything works out by the end of the series, or I will sob myself to death! Great development of characters and conflict.
  • You've done it again, Brian. Congratulations!

    9.6
For the past few shows, i've wanted to reach right through the tv and slap Brian across the face. When is he going to wake up, much less grow up? He is an "over-the -hill club boy", as Mikey likes to say. So stop fighting off the two loves of your life and grow up. Great, I'm glad that you have principles that you stick to, but are you really going to be 85 and still hanging around in the backroom? Of course not. Justin loves you more than anyone, so unless you want to be a lonely old man, I suggest you wake up and make a small sacrifice to be with Jussi. And this newfound obsession with beating Brandon for the hottest guys, isn't helping. He is just pushing Justin further to do the inevitable. Stupid Brian!moreless
  • I am so glad that Brian finally has some competition. It's about time he realizes that he can't be Peter Pan forever.

    8.0
Contrary to what Michael tells him, Brian won't be young and beautiful forever. And he is beginning to figure that out. Brandon enters the scene and not only denies Brian's advances, but he also steals away tricks from him. I don't know about other viewers, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this happen because it serves to shatter Brian's illusion of himself. It's about time Brian is shoved off his pedestal so that he can finally realize that what he has with Justin is so much more important than tricking himself into believing that men will worship him forever. In the end, it's all meaningless if Brian can't share his life with Justin.moreless
  • Denied!

    8.2
I adore, adore the fact that Mr. Brian Kinney himself was finally kicked down a knotch of two. The hottest guy on Liberty Ave. is finally turned down, not to mention he is turned down by someone who is providing him with a little competition. I understand that this has never happened to him before and am willing to cut him a little slack on this aspect, I mean it has got to be very unsettling, but I am so reveling in this moment.moreless
  • Oh Brian and Justin! It's the end!

    8.1
I don't know why they have to break up Brian and Justin. They just got back together. They might as well have stayed apart back when Justin first dumped Brian for Ethan. Justin knows what kind of man Brian is. He knew if from the first time they met! So of course, they break up next week! I do agree that it is time for Brian to grow up. Life is not all fun and games. But I don't want him to give up some of his beliefs, it's what makes him such a unique character. We'll see what happens next week.

I can't believe that Hunter is back on the streets again. He barely got to have a true home and he just gives it up. I loved Michael being the mama bear and flat out telling him that he couldn't leave. I hope he doesn't go for good.

I loved Ted trying to get revenge on that guy from Pride. I just wish he had been able to go through with it. Sure, it isn't like Ted, but this is a new Ted and it would have been sweet to see him humilate that guy.

Now for Emmett. I don't know why he listened to Brian about his show. Yeah, it's unfair that he has to push back his sexuality on the show, but that is sort of what everyone has to do in order to keep a job. Most peoples cultures are generally not shown at work, even on TV. But I understand why he had to do it at least once.

I'm so glad Debbie went back to work! She is her best when she is around her kids at the Liberty Diner. I just hope she can slow down her schedule and still see Carl.

So, are Lindsey and Melanie getting back together? We knew they would (I hoped they would). I loved Michael calling Melanie family. They have finally squashed their differences and have moved on. Although, with Lindsey moving in with her parents next week, I don't know. I get that she is having difficulty with money, but still, her parents! They are awful!

Needless to say, I can't wait for next week, if only to find out how Brian does with out Justin this time. We know he is going to suffer, because he really loves Justin!

    Until next week!moreless
